Main problem with Bo1 are that they do not compensate for the luck factor especially in the later half of the tournament when the scores are really close and all the other apac regions are doing Bo3 . It's kinda unfair , if you think about it .

This is probably the weakest iteration of vlt imo . All players are good individually ( atleast at SA level) but things seem to be in a downward spiral .

Tbh their coach isn't bad at all. He works on the fundamentals and have the courage to come up with new comp and strats. Regarding kohli matter , kohli was just supposed to be a 6 month intern. So they conducted the trial acc to that which basically inclued ; a player with high skill ceiling plus with room to grow -kohli fitted that description perfectly .

If I remember correctly, Monyet was trailing with RRQ. GE owner said it on his stream, that there were few players who went ahead with other organizations, Monyet might be one of those few . Plus you have to consider language factor also .

It's just a speculation but every one at GE seems to be following maple on twitter (main staff+players+ayrin) and vice versa . So it might be possibility or maybe not . At the end of the day, it's just a speculation.
