all my libido is towards the thought of never seeing such a shitshow of a map again.
rest in piss breeze, thank god we have split back (best map), fracture next please.
Lqwnmower [#12]People who say "oh u cant aim". If a map is all based on aim than its just a bad map bro. Me personally i have nothing against breeze just presenting this information
its not a bad map, if its the only map that requires aim
I don't get the reasoning for hating breeze, I get hating icebox, fracture, bind, split, or even haven; those are all different maps that can feel overwhelming on ranked sometimes, cause ppl don't really know how to play them(split not really different it is just unbalanced). But imo breeze is a simple map that rewards smart players and aimers too. But I guess not everyone has aim or brain
The "people who dont like breeze cant aim" narrative went from being a meme to somehow being a legitimate belief that many in the community hold which is incredibly concerning. Breeze was the most banned map in all of pro valorant towards the end before franchising. When it wasn't banned, it was BY FAR the most CT sided map in the entire game. The problem isnt that its such an aim reliant map, the players with the best aim on the planet hated it. Its actually got a decently similar problem to icebox. The Chokes to both B and A are tiny and allow Ops and viper/kayo mollies to completely control full site execs, yet the only ways to split the sites are through a mid that is extremely unintuitive and inconvenient for attackers. The map lends itself to needing splits to properly hit sites, but doesn't really allow for those kinds of plays unless pushing halls and hitting A, which became almost the only strat on breeze towards the end of its life. I think harbor could have made the map a lot more playable for everyone, but some reworks might not hurt it that much either

Iβm probably the only person who would actually read this fucking essay but youβre completely right. Feels like you can get shot from 10 different angles coming out of tunnel in a B hit, itβs horrible. Splitting A was easy but B splits are just horrific in ranked

"all maps suck exept the one you hate"
