They have a lot of cool moment, but most of the time it's just cringe for me. Especially the way the character talk to each other.
it's good but its becoming bad like | other character strong, mc weak --> mc become stronger than other character -----> mc become weaker again, other character suddenly become op again in just like one day. other characters also have been treated better than the mc. author likes to degrade the mc its getting annoying

honestly i dont think its the author likes degrading the mc. its more like saying "you aren't the only one evolving, the others are evolving too. you are getting stronger, but don't think of yourself the strongest as there will always be another challenge". heck the author literally makes a point of basically saying mc was never the most skilled nor will he be the most skilled among the batch that are left. what he is saying that you develop your strongest points and learn from those who are stronger and to overcome those who are stronger. the manga has repeatedly done that, with mc constantly overcoming one challenge to be met with another, and to keep up his fighting spirit. besides, this is still a common theme among many sports manga/anime. Haikyuu does the same, Kuroko no Basuke and so on. They all get shut down multiple times, forcing the mc and the team to evolve and overcome those strengths. annnd i wrote a full essay. srry
JiangLi [#4]Its good but i like Ao ashi more
Blue Lock > Be Blues > Ao Ashi
FlyingDoggoWoweeCIap7 [#6]Blue Lock > Be Blues > Ao Ashi
Blue lock is like 'Kuroko no Basket' kinda vibes
Ao ashi is more realistic like Slam Dunk
Whichever you like more
Concept is really cringe tbh, mfs talking about soccer like it's life or death

Yeah its a preference thing, if u like the shaolin soccer vibes with cool powers and such read/watch blue lock, if u want to get a more indepth view on how football works read/watch ao ashi. I liked the manga better for these 2 series doe.
Its ok, I read some of the manga after 2nd episode and it's too cringe man, shit like you need a super power because that's what soccer is about, what's the mcs power? He can look around
It’s cringe but in the best way possible, so it’s very fun. More of a weird superpower/squid game/soccer and or football hybrid.

sorry i didnt specify that what i meant abt the degrading part is the player in bastard munchen u know how he acts. there's also that one particular internal monologue of isagi that he keeps on repeating and it irritates me very much. im waiting for chapters to pile up since reading this manga 1 chapter at a time is frustrating lol.
i'm fine with the underdog type of shit but the power up of other blue lock members are just so dumb and they can somehow erase the gap between them and the best players of the world quickly.
