It is now confirmed Indian teams are invited too, they were very unclear about this before
https://play.toornament.com/en_US/tournaments/6188116706316656640/

But a geniune question where are the sea tourney organizers? This event is also organised by Indian TO,Are they just for quick cash and local tourneys only?

Why is Gxr India invitational is having teams from other region? This is an offseason tourney for sea with 2Indian teams also qualfying, 30k prizepool is less for skyesports but they have setup their new office in thailand so good for the start.

Just a reminder
This is only off-season tournament (held by third-party organizer and supported by riot) not a VCT Circuit tournament like intl league, challengers, masters, and champions. 3rd party orgs (like TEC/SkyEsports/GalaxyRacer/other org who held vct off-season tourney) have the privilege to decide which tourney name + team got qualified/invited + tournament format in their 3rd party tournament.

Host is in India, but this is a Pacific offseason event. Need to consider that we are looking at a Pacific-wide engagement for each tourney that is involved. There might be subregional biases, but we're not in the old 2022 system anymore. We're looking at a preview for 2023.
