if the ENGHHH rumours come true
I'll start- Top 4 (or 5 at the very least)
SnooTangerines [#5]Man the firepower on GE is probably the highest at the moment. In terms of plain firepower maybe only PRX comes close.
Ofc all this is useless until they get a good coaching staff.
Also they need to get comfortable with role swaps

DRX PRX and T1 are still ahead
codwy [#6]Hopefully they do get Engh, last night on stream I asked the owner if they considered signing Engh. He read my question out aloud but didn't answer and just moved on. Could mean sumn
Nahhh they are gonna stick with eraser as their head coach but they gonna bring some support staff

Talon will be top 3 just watch them
titanwithpp [#8]Also they need to get comfortable with role swaps
I don't think that is necessarily an issue.
When a new agent comes out, people learn to play that agent within 1-2 months right? There is plenty of time for the kick off tournament. I think they can learn 2-3 new agents very comfortably. GE also likes to run 3 initiator comps.
Lightningfast is already a flex player who plays a lot of sentinels. So he will probably make most maps. The rest of the instalock duelist mania will probably cycle initiator/chamber/duelist roles around for different maps.

Exactly and his name hasn't been attached with any team too so far. (Also if it matters, he follows and likes the tweets of GE management lol)

Vampli [#10]DRX PRX and T1 are still ahead
DRX is a strat-based team, apart from Buzz or maybe Mako I won't really count them as a "firepower" team. Notice how Rb playing duelist does not need to frag out a lot of times to still win games? Stax and Rb step up when required but so did Skillz on the old GE.
T1 is still not fully announced yet. Yes, they might be good contenders but I won't count them on the list yet.
PRX has Jingg+Forsaken who are probably better than all players on GE but 5 high ACS explosive players is just too much firepower man.

Bro seriously? DRX were top 3 in Champions put some respect in their name.....you look deluded af

Its about timing and stuff, the unison of using ability is difficult when learning an agent. For example a breach player who played breach a lot knows the best spots to flash after a stun so duelist can run and kill. This kinda stuff ofc can be learned but this might be their main focus for the next 3-4 months

Sorry but DRX would still farm any Pacific team, not only do they have advantage of being together, they are really coordinated as well.

Valorant is a dynamic game. PRX where 2nd in Copenhagen got grouped in champions.
Loud were 2nd in Iceland got grouped in Copenhagen.
After this rostermania you cannot tell what the power rankings really are at this point unless they play each other.
DRX were top 3 in Champions
That does not automatically qualify them as a team that focuses on firepower. They have really good set plays and teamwork and any player above plat can see that just by watching 1 map. That is the reason they win. Not because one player just pops off and drops a 40 bomb. Yes, they have Mako who is easily one of the top controllers in the world but my point remains.
WRONSKI is not a bad player. He is extremely talented. Just needs some experience. Monyet is still a top player APAC. Ayrin is also a good player. t3xture and the other guys are not bad either and were direct competitors to DRX in Korea.
I am not saying they are gonna win pacific or something. For that they need an extremely good coaching staff. I am just talking about pure firepower here.
Okay I'm gonna play devil's advocate here, but I think this roster is going to crumble hard.
The last time we see 6 players in one team was vision striker, they always regarded as one of the top teams from KR but they always dropped the ball in international tournaments (even though it turn out well for them in the next year but it's because they ditch the 6 man thing). 6 players really never worked at all in any esports that use 5 players in a game, let alone 7 players that GE is currently doing.
Also the fact that their players are from different part of the world that have different cultures and speak different languages, pair it with the fact that there's gonna be multiple role clashes, there's a high chance that this roster is gonna be dead on arrival.

but if anything I just said turn out to be untrue, I think they're gonna be a solid mid table team with their peak being qualifying for international tournaments. so 4th to 6th is my guess.

This is new team lil bro and what you are doing is called 'over hyping'.Give them time and this might be a very bad decision too
keeping 5 jett players doesn't mean that ur team will be cracked af we will have to see what will be agent comps of GE and how can you judge them when they haen't played single game together
DRX has Mako,Rb,Foxy9,Buzz,Zest and stax has decent aim as well + they have synergy of 1+ yrs....
You can't compare GE with DRX or PRX.

how can you judge them when they haen't played single game together
What else are you doing? I am simply stating that GE has a lot of fire power or "individually skilled" players.
Do you not understand the simple difference between how good individually the players are and what team chemistry is?
What I did is simply state the individual skill of all the players is good or as in there are no "weak links" in GE like there were earlier. Ofc that does not mean that they are gonna have the best team plays and win every tournament.
decent aim as well
Ofc, you need at least decent aim to consistently be top 6 globally. I never denied that.
You can't compare GE with DRX or PRX.
That is the entire point. We are here to compare the team and look at the possibilities. Just because DRX had a good run for 2 years and PRX for 1/2 a year does not mean they are immortal. Everyone is here to win. You are delusional to think that no other superteam in APAC will beat PRX or DRX eventually.

Case 1) They stick with the current coaching staff - this is gonna be true
Case 2) They get a good coaching staff - They have enough time to figure these things out to not be absolute trash.
