RickyIndian [#16]The thing is, we don't know how much room bang has to grow. Marved is guaranteed to be the best controller in NA, but with bang, we never really know. Marved most definitely has a work ethic from what we've seen with OpTic and I know for sure he will mesh well with sgares and MikesHD.
The only thing I think bang has over marved is the foundation with 100T and the chemistry with the players around him. However, there's plenty of time in the off-season to get marved settled in and ready for the kickoff tournament.
If I was 100T I would rather go with the good chemistry in bang. We know a team full of stars doesn't always pan out the right way, and Marved may not mesh well with the rest of the team. Bang may not be at the level of Marved, but he's pretty damn close so I wouldn't want to risk bad chemistry over a relatively small skill improvement

Did you forget how shit Marved played all of Champs and it wasn't until the game against DRX in the lower bracket final where he started to actually perform again? I'm not saying Marved is shit, I'm a massive fan of him, but Bang is easily one of the best controllers in NA next to Marved...

that was just one example, what about teams like G2, old 100T, or TL that clearly had insanely cracked players but just couldn't put it together. LOUD and Optic were both rare examples of star players that all meshed well together that almost no other team could replicate

which G2 roster are you talking about?
also, that 100T roster doesn't compare to LOUD's in terms of individual skill. The LOUD players are the best of the best when it comes to mechanical skill and of course, results. 100T had hiko and steel on the same team... I don't think that's remotely close to a superteam.
The Liquid roster had cracked out players for sure, but they never had a set IGL and would always overthink how they should be approaching each map.
