think about it, there are so many good players in NA, sure dicey isnt yay but dicey can do a great job at being almost as good as him, right now, all the teams are fighting over hyped up names and are probably paying way more than they need to because of the demand, after franchised rosters for most teams are more or less confirmed, theyre gonna swoop in and take some of the best unsigned talent which most people didnt notice because of clout and recency bias, (jonahp,valyn, zander,theres way more in NA) and just get those players for a way lower price and way less negotiation, genius as an org tbh, i think we are flaming them too much for taking their time
and personally i feel like if you exclude recency bias theyre gonna end up being far more of a better team, because currently, xset players are valued way more coz they finished 6th at lan (theyre still pretty fucking good and deserve teams) and that overshadows a lot of probably better players which eg can just grab and end up building an actual top contender
