james_reece [#8]Yeah no VLR u guys are genuinely fucking insane, pretty sure u guys predicted c9 yay as well as NRG ardiis. U guys are impressive
C9 yay was ez
Gutssz [#3]OPTC roster but -yay +ardiis??
W roster imo
nrg would be a very good contender if they got optic core + ardiis, and a good smokes player that can fill marved shoes well
AceuZ [#17]Crashies, FNS, Victor, Ardiis and s0m?
imo they remove SHOULD s0m keep him as streamer and find an actual smokes player
vispri [#20]imo they remove SHOULD s0m keep him as streamer and find an actual smokes player
they should yes, but he's a big content creator for nrg and close friends with fns victor, etc. Probably wont happen even though it's not the best move from a competitive pov
Queefbreath [#24]ardiis will need to lose some weight to fit in with the Americans
Nah wdym, he prob needs to gain some more weight
patuj [#10]NA already starting importing players
1 player isn’t bad… CS #1 HLTV team (faze) has Twistzz, who is from Canada i think
One player import isn’t unreasonable
ChromeDZN [#25]Nah wdym, he prob needs to gain some more weight
Weirdly enough, NA esports pros are usually fit and hit the gym, or at the least are just skinny, while there are many overweight or a little chubby EU esports pros. Odd, considering that gamers are stereotypically seen as fat dudes in their moms basement, and NA’s obesity rate being so much higher than EU. You’d think we’d have more overweight players.

True, but I'm so tired of this because of LoL. Luckily the situation isn't the same in Valorant as it is LoL, but I just hate the tradition of NA teams importing good EU players just to ruin them and send back home year later. Also importing is overall bad at this point IMO. You have local talent so why not keep them and try to develop those players. They try to win, but its just not good sign. I would have been mad if EU team had imported like Cryo or something. Its just bad because it weakens the other by taking some of their best out while also possibly worsening the future of own region. Like NA has already imported Xeta(going back to Korea I guess), Sayaplayer, ec1s(not good) and now Ardiis. It makes it so much less interesting and becomes frustrating.

Fair point, but league shit game anyway

importing? not our fault ardiis wanted to move over to the better region when he could have stayed with the FPX boys on Na'Vi
:)

aren't they keeping s0m and putting him back on smokes?

You actually have a point lmao
kaibe8 [#37]aren't they keeping s0m and putting him back on smokes?
yeah probably but if they let s0m be content creator (probably wont happen) and had someone fill marved shoes well, they would be a very good team

I think he's the face of the NRG, NRG got fans because of the W STREAMER (maybe idk)

i'll have to agree on this one, valorant-wise, pros are kinda fit on NA
ballistA [#35]importing? not our fault ardiis wanted to move over to the better region when he could have stayed with the FPX boys on Na'Vi

"better region" lol OpTic was only team who was doing anything for NA for most of last year and even they already got split into pieces. And even the core lost arguably their 2 best players (yay and Marved/not so much lately). We will see how these teams do, but many seem to forget they haven't done much in the past.

(Sorry for replying just wanted to keep it on top so ppl can Reed it)
Tweet:
Sources: NRG is hopeful of signing ardiis to the VALORANT roster.
Partnered teams are allowed one import to their roster.
FPX, who will soon join Na'Vi, is trialing replacements.
