L shahz this only feeds into haters, shouldve shit on them and called them iron players
I think he’s definitely messed up in the last year but this apology is the first step in the right direction. Maybe someday he can perform like he did in 2021. Good luck to him.

A step in the right direction, atleast he’s acknowledged the problems at hand
W's in this thread for ShahZam, we won't see him on SEN anymore. All we needed to hear from this man.
mocaxoxo [#2]W Shahz.
people were way too harsh on him imo
Wow after almost a year and a half of fucking up his own legacy in a game he had a head start in.
He apologized and FINALLY took accountability.
So brave.
Realistically, if this is actually a change good for him and it's a W, but I guess we'll have to see if his old habits will die hard.
Him leaving Sentinels is the best move in his entire Valorant career.
dude is malicious towards people in-game too lol like dam i wish mans wanted to win in a pro game as much as he loves winning in ranked (jokes). seriously though, every time i see clips of shahz it's always him yelling at someone
Shahz W
Honestly I don't even understand why he was hated so much, other than maybe prioritizing streaming over his pro career.
I guess val fans just found out about his cs reputation and started an hate raid.

you just can't do that and be the igl end of story
other than maybe prioritizing streaming over his pro career
i think everyone should move on like he did

People kept forgetting he was IGL’ing and playing new roles to make space for others. Not his biggest fan, but I’ve seen IGL’s play so much worse than him without hearing a word about it.

if the level of the game goes back down to 2021 level maybe yea
fourlvalorant [#17]what did he even do
im so out of the loop
it's not like a single big event that happened but rather just him basically denying all the criticism, lying, and insulting people who criticized him for the past 1-2 years

This sums it up for those who are curious

Numbers and tactics are key parts of being an igl. As long as your igl has good enough tactics to outweigh the bad numbers then its all good, but an igl with good numbers and lacking tactics is just another player. Shazham lacks the ability to read the enemy team's plays (yes I understand that a coach could've definitely helped in this aspect) but it still didn't change the fact that he could only put up the numbers. Not bad to keep him on the team but they need to change out the igl role
the only reason the guy's apologizing now is because he's about to be cut, not to improve.
