Its like saying why CN invested in league despite lol being absolutely dominated by KR, teams fall, rosters change, everyone has a decent chance at the trophy. Na has 3 powerhouses in TL/EG/100T, EU also has G2(Omegalul) Rogue/ Mad Lions and Fnatic. These two regions can get that Worlds trophy if things go their ways. Remember G2 and EG placed 3/4 in MSI, one fluke and they get that mofo cup
Cuz league is still interesting to watch even if NA and EU arent the best. I have little interest in watching chinese player #27 that I have no clue who they are. Most of the western players ive watched play for years

For the love of the game. For the love of the sport. For the love of the teams and players. EU and NA teams are still competitive - amidst a new regeneration of teams like MAD, RGE, EG, 100T - combined with the old guard's experience, these teams and rosters can still do damage.

It's kinda hard tbh. If you never played the game before you probably won't understand what's happening but once you get into it the matches can be super fun to watch.
