Defending Champion

Some says Acend is the defending champion, some says FPX. Who really is it?

acend are defending for champs and fpx are defending for the most recent masters

acend arent defending shit since they arent at the event

Technically it's Acend if people treat Champions just like Worlds in League

Acend technically, but since they havent been at a masters all year id say its FPX since they won the most recent event

Every tournament whether its masters or champs is considered by the community as a major, so in my opinion it should be FPX,
plus ascend are barely even a team anymore and you have to actually be at the event to be called "defending champs", if you're not there you can't defend anything.
