PRIOR INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
-Liquid have been to every international event except for Masters Berlin and Masters Copenhagen. Four of the five players on the team have some form of international experience. Their highest finish was 4th place at Champions last year.
-This is leviatan's second appearance internationally after Copenhagen, where they finished 5th-6th after a loss to FNATIC
HIGHLIGHT HEAD TO HEADS
-Scream vs kiNgg: ScreaM pulled a slight edge over kiNgg, going 10-8 against him
-dimasick vs Melser: dimasick and melser broke even, going 8-8 against each other
-Soulcas vs shyy: soulcas was consistently beating shyy, going 7-4 overall
THE MAPS, THE ROUNDS, THE FRAGS
-Leviatan won all four pistols
-Ascent continues to be leviatans best map, now being 11-3 in 2022 on Ascent
-Tacolilla led the server in 2Ks with 11
-ScreaM and melser led the server in 3ks, each with 3
-jamppi, scream, and shyy all had one 4K
-5 players in the server played only 1 agent, while the other 5 played exactly 2
ADDITIONAL STATS
-despite seeming to find a lot of impact with OPs and chamber TPs, Tacolilla went 5-7 on openers throughout the match
-Nivera went an abysmal 2-12 against kiNgg
-This match was Phoenix's first international appearance of 2022
-Leviatan had many rounds classified as semi-ecos, where many players had stingers, sheriffs, a bulldog at most. Of these 13 rounds they had, they won 9 of them
-except for kiNgg, the entire lobby went negative when on the attack side
LOOKING AHEAD
-Leviatan will advance to the upper decider to face Paper Rex for a spot in playoffs
-Liquid will face Edward Gaming in the lower elimination match in order to keep their run alive. They will need to win at least 2 more matches to make it out of groups
