Acend beats old 100T 9/10 times just like Gambit beats that 100T 9/10 times. You call them fluke. Acend was undoubtedly the best team in EMEA whole of 2021. Barely any team could beat them. They only lost to gambit in a seeding game, but in the high stake games they always won like dropping gambit to the lower brackets in EMEA stage 3. Same with demolishing Liquid in the highest stake games, not redbullhomeground. It was an insane fight by gambit to even make it 3-2, that was how strong acend was, not Lulquid flukers.
Bro who cares about old 100T they literally arent apart of the conversation... They were consistent losers toward the end of the season and no one even had them winning the whole thing... All of a sudden they popped off one time that happened to be during the most important part. If they weren't a fluke team they wouldn't be disbanded and they might actually be competing this year.

flawed list. DRX and KRU almost zero fucking competition, but KRU got grouped twice this year. DRX failed to get top 4, lost to Zeta, Optic twice in a row and demolished by FPX. M3C and Acend has to play against teams that win the tournament, get top 4 or teams that 2-0 previous masters winners.
The only teams that are insanely consistent are Xerxia (they missed masters 3 because of bug exploit), Optic and Fnatic(qualifies from the toughest region almost regularly) and Liquid (consistently qualifies and embarrasses EMEA)
Champions leauge format is shit you can fluke your way to the win if you get easy bracket and a couple lucky wins (real Madrid last year)
People wouldn’t watch with double elim. The only reason people watch champions league, is because of single elimination. No other reason.

NA is only good in single elim formats, and this time FPX just exposed these flukers. In a single elimination playoffs, its much more higher stakes, makes it soo much better. CSGO, things like world cup, champions league all of them single elimination. There is a reason it is and not double elimination.
NA has one two masters and they were both double elim...
EMEA has won 3 titles with 2 being single elim...
FR they so pampered with double elim long ass boring games, when it’s short, sweet and gets everyone talking with single elim
Optic/Envy in masters 3- Played against KRU, VK and two NA teams all the way to finals, not a single map against EMEA
In champions- grouped by acend and x10/xerxia, not a single map against EMEA
Masters 1- no competition, not a single map versus EMEA
Masters 2- Opening games in playoffs vs xset and DRX chokers, and already top 3. Exposed by FPX and PRX, maps were not even close. 1 map finally won against EMEA, lost 5 maps total.
You're using Optic as the only argument for NA which is just wrong

champs- GMB vs ACE
masters 1- LOUD vs Optic
Masters 2- FPX vs PRX
That's because the tournament organizers keep putting NA v NA in early stages so they get eliminated before they can even show up

Yup this is absolutely awful for any region. Masters 3, 3 NA teams in a bracket, just wow and 2nd and 3rd seed EMEA team in the same group, that too with DRX korea no.1 seed. Last 2 masters 3 EMEA in the same bracket and Optic vs NA first seeds. Pathetic.
Single elim is better for new viewers and there will be hype for all playoff matches but double elim is better if you want the better team to win. FUCK IT GIVE US TRIPLE ELIM
