Im pretty sure when it came to playoffs the 4 teams that qualed directly to playoffs were all technically 1st seed and all of the ones who qualed from groups were 2nd seed, but I see what you mean

the 3 emea teams and 2 na teams on same side could have easily been avoided yes.

but also what i meant by:

I understood what you meant, but I'm pretty sure I remember there being graphics that just said 1st seed (Auto qual playoffs) and 2nd seed (Groups playoffs)
I could be completely wrong as it very much does look that way
