I need some REALLY good books preferably under or about 200 pages (not mandatory tho). Dont send me some bs coming of age romance or drama. Oh and please specify the genre of your recommendation

The devils advocate - Steve cavanagh. It’s a crime fiction book from the perspective of a lawyer, solving an impossible case. It’s one hell of a book, his book before, fifty-fifty, was also good, and his new book, the accomplice, was published yesterday, so if you enjoy this one, you’ll enjoy a lot of his work. I think it’s over 200 pages tho :(

The Road is a 2006 post-apocalyptic novel by American writer Cormac McCarthy. The book details the grueling journey of a father and his young son over a period of several months across a landscape blasted by an unspecified cataclysm that has destroyed industrial civilization and almost all life.
yes very short book by underground indie author, u can also finish in one read! its not like George KEK Martin with the 1000s of pages of saga

Coming to short stories around 200 pages, Maus a graphic novel is pretty good and maybe some of the Agatha Christie stuff. If u prefer a more serious kind of book try her non -poirot nor maple/t&t stories. The standalone ones r rlyl good
I've read basically everything under the sun in fantasy.
Wheel of Time is a massive ordeal but my god, it's fucking worth it. The last 3 books are the best ending to a huge series I've ever read.
Some of the middle books are a bit of a drag but it all comes together by the end in a beautiful fashion. You've read some of the all-time greats, Wheel of Time is the natural next one.
One of my favourite books is Catcher in the Rye, it's about a teenager who is having tons of personal problems and he's trying to get by day to day life facing them. Loved it but others can find the main character annoying.
Psychological thriller I recommend YOU it was pretty good with an interesting way of story telling that focused on heavy narration in the first person pov. About a guy who becomes infatuated with women to the point of stalking them.
Stephen King is goated at horror especially his old works. A really light read I recommend is Apt Pupil. It's about a teen who is interested in Nazis and blackmails his ex nazi neighbor into telling him about the atrocities he committed. I like it because of the descent on madness that this kid experiences as the book progresses.
Animal Farm is a satirical take on the human mind and how people will always manipulate one another to get what they want. Except this time it's animals in a farm. Light read easy to follow and digest and overall good book.
No longer human is amazing but feels like a fever dream. It's hard to follow along but it's about a guy who doesn't know his place on life, but rather than trying to figure it out he just lives life without viewing himself as human ever. Breaking his psyche even more. Wouldn't recommend starting with this.
Those are some of the books I have really enjoyed so if you do check them out it would be cool, but it's all a matter of taste, read what you like :)
Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke
its target audience is children but I've honestly had a ton of fun rereading it recently. It's an urban fantasy that follows a dragon attempting to find a new home undisturbed by human activity after centuries of hiding.
The journey spans a good portion of the earth with an extremely unique cast that takes inspiration from many different mythical creatures, with a fantastic antagonist.
It is a little bit on the longer side at 500 pages but its writing is not very dense (since its primary audience is children) so you can read through very easily.
