He's like LeBron James, good at everything smokes, initiator, rifle, op, clutch, entry, hold. Only non-duelist/chamber player in the top 10 in ACS. If he keeps this up and OpTic wins the chip he could very well be the best player in the world with only Yay in contention.

yay's peak performance definitely smurfs marved's but since yay had an awful day 1, the numbers are so dumbed down.

I’d say they are pretty close when at their peaks, Marved even has the kill record on LAN, yay is in a position where he gets setup to get kills compared to marved’s role, so I think marved is more impressive in that sense but I think both players are amazing

The stats says no when it comes to their peaks. Even during Iceland, Marved's stats is no where near close yay's overall stats in that tournament, and if you take off the day 1 slumped from yay, he actually has better numbers.

That being said Marved did amazing for his role, but nobody sets the standards more than yay will.

When I say peaks I’m talking about individual games/series not entire tournaments. Like how Marved at his peak got the kill record on LAN even on controller. And if you take off yays worst day ye his numbers will be better than marveds but it’s the same vice versa, if u take off marveds worst day his numbers would be better than yay. You can’t just say “if you ignore their bad performance then their stats are insane”, bad games happen and you can’t just ignore em. You know what I mean?

so basically a 1 game thing? we're talking about on how you do throughout. The thing is with marved he didn't play bad in this tournament. Yay's day 1 performance were bad in any level of pro play. That being said yay's stats is much better than marved's and yay's role is as hard as marveds, being the first to get a kill to open a round is as hard.

Bro when you say peaks, that generally means a map or series, not a whole tournament. And if you’re referring to this tournament marved and yays stats are pretty close not yays being “much better” than marveds. I agree both roles are hard like you mentioned but imo controller is definitely a harder role, which is why typically you don’t see controllers have a high ACS like duelists/chambers do.

This tournament Marved definitely edges out a little bit, but that didn't matter when this is about peaks and Yay beats him out on that... If you're going peaks off 1 game, then that shows how bland it is to use 1 game.

Controller is harder in a ranked settings but controller is now in the position to do well because of the smoke capability and lurks especially for Marved who lurks the most for Optic. Yay's role being the round opener is definitely harder as it is hard to get a kill when a team is disciplined. Having an over 60% FBSR shows how impactful someone is.

nah i'd say yay is like kevin durant ngl, he doesn't have as many "flashy" shots as other players. i'd say one of the brazilian jetts are like steph curry

I generally think you don’t understand what a peak is. If you have like 200 ACS over 6 series and then randomly you have a 280 ACS series then that series was your peak. You can’t use an entire tournament and say that’s a peak, that’s literally just yay being yay, he’s consistently good, we could say when yay went 31-9 against 100T that was a peak in his Berlin tournament, because it was. And the controller thing I’m not even gonna argue with you on because you bringing up ranked is all I needed to read to know you don’t understand this game.

so you're agreeing what yay does is better because what he does is harder...

If you look at the game, marved is the anchor and the lurker for Optic most of the time. So how is someone who gets the round opener harder than someone who anchors around the smokes and lurks?

As for peaks, IF you're going off 1 game performance then you don't know what peaks are, this is like saying in sports we base someone off 1 game, because no matter how much you slice it, that's not peaks of a player.

I’m giving you one more reply and not responding because you are hurting my head. Marved has to constantly be giving his teammates supports with his smokes as well as his abilities depending on the agent, whether it be attack side or defense side in addition to whatever else he may be doing. Yay plays chamber which means he can just go kill and not have to worry about supporting his teammates while getting the help of his teammates(crashies/victor flashing for him, dogging for him, Marved recovering smoke) to get the angle for his op/rifle to get an advantage for his peeks as well as having a get out of jail free card. Yays job is hard but he consistently gets help from his teammates to get those opening engagements. Bro and what we are saying about the peaks, I never said judge a player off one game, but that was never what you said, you said yays peak smurfs marved which is not true at all. Marved has shown on LAN his peak is as good if not better than yays and your definition of what a peak is, is wrong.

I would agree he gets help from his team, but that HAPPENS sometimes because they have to set up victor to entry as yay is no longer the jett anymore. As chamber meta goes on the less help yay needs to get his opening kills which sets up victor for success. to get a pick with an OP you need excellent timing and not only that you need to have a read on the map more so than a smoke player. So that being said what you're saying is true if yay is the entry which he isn't because victor plays that role and has more resources to entry and yay doesn't need it because he gets his first openers using an OP or peeking something dry.

ironically, you PUT marved's peak as 1 game thing when I literally called you out for that because that's not what peaks are. So in essence you're judging a player off of 1 game and because they did outstanding does not mean it's their peak.
I've used the sports analogy and you're completely wrong, even when using other esports, 1 game DOES not mean it's the player's peak.

Marved in this tournament has been slightly better if that's what you're saying which I already agreed, but yay's tournaments on LAN is far better than marved's including, aside from saying he's a smoke player, you can't give any real good arguments for why Marved's performance last tournament was better.
