I understand why its like this, i just dont agree with it. Why, if Optic beats KRU today, are we getting an NA round 1 match up. I dont want to watch region vs themselves.
fourlvalorant [#5]this is legit iceland all over again
Optic gonna lose first match
win through lowers
face NA team Round 1
win in close series
go onto semis and bareley come out of that alive
lose in uppers
except XSET won't pull a Guard
except optic is getting grouped 😹😹
Hecking_Love_Tenz [#3]don't worry
Xset will have to face KRU
you're literally a SEN fan yawn. Enjoy disappointment at LCQ.

SEN saving grace is shroud. even with signing Zellsis and Shroud SEN still isnt a top 5 teams
Optic
Xset
100t
Shopify
FaZe
NRG

All these team would still handle SEN pretty aggresively
they want to avoid same group being on same side of the bracket, same with na1 and eu1
they also want the winners of the groups not face to face na1 or eu1 in the first match to reward winning the group
this means b2 and a1 aswell as a1 and b2 being pairs on each side of the bracket
they want to put a1 on the same side as eu1 as it contains na2 who are expected to win the group for the same reason b1 is bracketed near na
the only thing random is the placement of sea1 and sa1
the bracket will look like this
eu1 vs (group containing eu2) seed2
sea/sa1 vs (group containing na2) seed1
na1 vs (group containing na2) seed2
sea/sa1 vs (group containing na2) seed1
so it is random but the only aspect is a flip of a coin to determine prx and lev placement
babysasuke [#2]Early tournament hype, need to limit the amount of games with EU snoozefest teams
So people will watch the NA bracket, and just check results for eu bracket
