Should rotate between BR/LATAM and JP/KR each masters, give other regions some development
Olofboost [#4]The whole idea of having only 12 teams at an international event is dreadful
And Riot think it’s a good idea to have 30 teams in all for franchising as well :/
LuffyVlr [#9]The ideal would be 16 teams. JP developed a lot and KR also so there's no reason for both regions not have a LCQ. I don't think removing the LCQ between BR/LATAM is the ideal though.
I don’t think it’s ideal to remove any slot to be honest, but JP/KR deserve at least one extra to develop the scenes, since we’ve literally only seen 3 different KR teams and 2 JP teams over the past year and a half. I’d say the BR/LATAM slot is most expendable simply because BR was already given a large amount of slots to develop the scene with in 2021 (which payed off a lot) and I’d like to see my region given the same chance

I agree with you but that's the same case for LATAM, we never saw any other LATAM team internationally other than KRU. Although the region itself is weak, I think they also deserve the chance to get more than 1 team into an international.
We should pressure Riot into putting more slots in international events, 16 in all of them would be awesome. It should not be only Champions with this amount (IMO Champions should be 24 with a play-in phase).

Hmm. Fair enough.
Sprouts [#15]I’m in the Bay Area right now
ahhh so america was wondering why u would be up at like 6kst
Olofboost [#6]Lmao
Did you watch recent EMEA games? M3C came 4th but I swear they play better than any team in any other region except for OpTic and LOUD
We saw last Masters with Team Liquid getting stomped by Zeta and Loud
Noyn [#19]We saw last Masters with Team Liquid getting stomped by Zeta and Loud
We saw last Masters qualification beginning with a significant crisis in Eastern Europe, which made Fnatic lose their initiator, made FPX participation at Iceland impossible, made Gambit having to play 6+ matches in 2 weeks on 2 different patches, because of long break before that

Sure, but Liquid were just seed 4 EMEA and lost to these teams, stop with this superiority syndrome

EMEA is still the best region purely by gameplay quality, competitiveness, approach, work ethics
Our teams are full of young guys who scrim, train a lot, knowing that Riot hates EMEA to the point where we get <4 slots at LANs despite all the achievements in 2021
Our teams never have free pathways to Masters, which can't be said about KRU, PRX, DRX, LOUD etc.
You decided to forget about everything prior to February 2022 and focused on a single mickey mouse event which I don't even consider a real Valorant tournament
Either way you'll see how better FNC and FPX are, unless Ange1 can't go because Ukrainian men aged 18-60 can't leave the country in most cases

This is why m3c Berlin win was more valuable than Sen Reykjavik win

10 teams for the entirety of APAC is gigatroll hopefully they reconsider
