is deathmatch useful to increase aim? I'm just learning to play Valorant, and I saw videos on Youtube that playing a death match is useful for increasing aim. however, every time I play deathmatch, I'm always very annoyed because it always dies, dies, and dies (1 deathmatch, I die more than 30 times, and it's really annoying). any suggestions?

don't you get bored of it though? even though it helps, the mental should actually boost the aim as well

deathmatch is good, but make sure to practice good habits during your practice.

good habits can include not crouching during fights, good crosshair placement, counter strafing, and tapping your gun instead of spraying.

For starters, apart from learning how to aim, u can try a few agents to see which one fits your bill. U can then proceed to youtube to watch some valorant content creators that main those agents, see if they catch your eyes. Obeserve how they get kills with their utilities. Learn the good ones from them and practice lineups/utils placing in customs.

Honestly I hate deathmatch. 50% of the time either someone kills me from behind or you need to take a round of the entire map just to find someone camping in a corner listening to your footsteps

It depends on what people you meet there. When I got match with Sam rats I just leave and start another

it is good if u pay attention to how you peek and strafe and shit, not just hide in a corner

Good for practicing good habits/mechanics but it plays out so awfully with people just footstep camping.

Stuff that others named like crosshair placement n what not should be the main focus

DM is good for crosshair placement and it's good warmup too. But I wouldnt recomend you that as only practice

You kind of just need to play deathmatch as you would a normal game. Practice holding angles and listening for enemies who are swinging into them. Try swinging common angles you would in a normal game on the map you are playing on with emphasis on crosshair placement. The range is helpful but practicing against actual players is beneficial because their movement is more random than the range bots, and they actually shoot back at you which puts you under more pressure and more realistic scenarios. It’s normal to feel frustrated when you keep dying over and over but just try to think about why you are dying because in some cases it isn’t just that your getting spawn killed, it could be that your crosshair placement was off, you didn’t clear an angle, etc. Just play deathmatch with the mindset of learning and not winning and then I promise you’ll improve. If you’re just aiming to win the deathmatch most likely your fundamentals will suffer, you’ll start winning deathmatches more often as yours skills progress. I hope this message is helpful and wish you the best of luck!

All could be unuseful if you don't know your weaknesses and don't work on them. You can play 10-20 dms per day just for play and you won't be progressing. That's why vods and replays in such games are highly important. Also that's why rito is dumb company.

if you're still bad after a month or two, just stick to mobile legend or pubg
