Is there any rule restricting the number of Korean players in a NA team?
Ultimate6989 [#2]Yes
3 must be a resident of NA I believe
sadge, I really want 5 KR players :)). very unique
Sprouts [#6]2 KR and 3 NA
At this point though, Xeta might be able to apply so he’s no longer considered an import, meaning that they could bring in another KR player
I don't know If VCT rule is same as LoL rule or not . If same , so Xeta now considered NA player

Not all all. To get regional residency (NA, EU, KR, etc...), u need to have played 3 years of the last 4 years in the region when u are a foreigner. For instance, xeta will have NA residency in January 2024.
m1nari [#10]xeta played na csgo
but he moved back to Korea at the start of his Valorant career for C9 Korea

This is true, but because xeta has been in NA for so long he might be considered an NA player, so they might be able to get one more Korean player if they want to stay in NA.

I'm pretty sure you need a green card to not be considered an import anymore, atleast that's how it is for lol. But Soniqs has like 3 oce so idk.

yeah but how long was he in KR for? if it was less than a year then he actually could count as NA player if his time in NA csgo counts towards this 4 year thing.
