All the players I counted were brilliant players even when their teams were bad, so tenz's bad team is no excuse for him.

If he wasn't the best mechanical player in the word then how did he carry sentinels to a win in masters back then. When back then all that mattered was mechanics. He was the best then, probably the best now (mechanics wise) except the game is now team based and he can't get away with braindead aim alone.
Notice how when I do talk about the current Tenz I say "probably the best now (mechanics wise)" kinda crazy you overlooked that part. Also people aren't that much more consistent as him. Yay or Bdog or any other big duelist have a bad game the team carries them through and gets a dub so they aren't under the limelight. However sentinels win or lose depends on Tenz dropping a 300 ACS. That's why I feel Tenz just gets criticized more. Also consistency wise this qualifier he hasn't been doing that bad and is usually top of the team.
He didn't fully carry but it was definitely noticeable he was the best in the game internationally at the time. Also I'm not living in the past im living in the current. Like you said "rn only tenz might be close to his old form". So why single him out in this post instead of someone in Sentinels. Classic Tenz post is what I see. Guy has 1 ok game vs EG and this post comes out a few days later. Coincidence I think not
mechanical skill wise he's probably better than them but the way he plays sometimes is fucking braindead also the excuse of him entry so he dies a lot is not viable anymore all the teams have changed their playstyle to make more use of the entry and play together so this kind of excuse isn't really an excuse anymore it's really on the igl
one time i was eating chicken wings beside tenz at a pub in canada, and he is wearing white sweatpants and the black and red SEN jersey and i was eating a flat and i took a bite out of it and the bone popped out and flip up in the air, and i swore to god that time slow down and i was like "omg holy shit, somebody stop this", i couldnt react whilst watching the bone spinning around and then the chicken wing drops but tenz moves his leg away while the bone was split-second away from touching his white sweatpants and i look dead in his eyes and said "omg dude, im so sorry" and tenz that totally silence all the time while enjoying his borovička look over towards me and said "i knew it would happen" then look away, stood up and walk off, i never been so awe in my life and then i knew this guy is and will be a great valorant player, this guy is cold as fuck like his in-game name and he is fast as hell its how he dodges the chicken wing bone and its how he fucked 100t balls deep while keeping his composure, its no coincidence, im telling you its all interconnected because what kind of person you're in real life, translated to how you are as a player in valorant.
Bruh tenz isnt bad the team is just really not working to adapt to the meta. Tenz isnt an opper bc hes an entry but its like they force him on that role too much. Like if tenz could play chamber and then you would put kanpeki on raze/neon i would say the team would have a lot better results, but i think shahz and rawkus are too set on having tenz play duelist all the time that it makes him look bad on certain maps. Also he lacks a lot of discipline which is why hes sometimes worst than all these great players rn who know their particular set plays on their teams bc they understand their situations.
I love tenz the way he is right now. I feel like losing is pretty shitty and I fucking hate when they lose, but I do love watching tenz go crazy on the "limited agent pool" that he does have. I would pay money to watch tenz on jet rather than yay on chamber (boring ass character) or any other duelist any day.
