its because csgo events have a live crowd in an arena that can fit 20k people, obviously its more hype
I think valo casting will improve a lot when we finally have a crowd. Just hearing the crowd in the back and interacting with the crowd adds a lot imo

Valorant casting is legit dead.
There are so many moments in CS that I remember because of the casters. The crowd reaction paired with actually engaging casting is what made CS so enjoyable.
Ddk was the only proper caster left off from CS but we've not seen a LAN with crowds for Valorant, so I'm hoping we get some epic moments
