I get that but the only issue is the industry standard for 60hz monitors is 16.6. It will be rare to find a 60hz monitor that exceeds the 16.6 time between frames. It would have to be a very low quality or old monitor. The biggest factor here that we both missed is the response time of the monitor. If it’s a low response time the number of in game frames will not effect the monitor too terribly much. If it’s a high response time that’s when ghosting happens.

Frame time isn't a measurement influenced by monitors. I'm not sure where you're getting that from. Frame time has to do with time taken to render each frame (a job a monitor is not responsible for). You're right that response time does make a visual difference, though.
