The team has not yet announced who will replace him.

Itopata first joined LEVIATÁN ahead of the 2024 season as their assistant coach under head coach goked . A solid third-place finish in Stage 1 qualified the squad to Masters Shanghai, but an unexpected Swiss stage elimination there led to goked departing the team and Itopata succeeding him as their new head coach.

With Itopata at the helm, the team surged to greater heights, claiming the Stage 2 trophy and placing third at Champions 2024.

Since then, however, LEVIATÁN has struggled to return to those heights, having yet to return to the international stage after going out top-six in Kickoff and failing to qualify to the Stage 1 playoffs entirely with a 1-4 regular season record.

Plagued by role uncertainty and frequent roster shifts, the team has now chosen to make multiple changes in hopes of returning to the top of Americas heading into Stage 2. Before then, the new roster is currently debuting in the Tixinha & Sacy Invitational.
