Introducing the Extended Statistics Dataset for the VCL 2024!

I have collected the data of all Rifle vs Rifle fights from all the 2023 VCT Events.
The TOP 3 by Success Rate is given by:

  1. Demon1 - 59% (won 660 of 1124 Rifle vs Rifle fights)
  2. Alfajer - 57% (723 of 1257)
  3. SUYGETSU - 56% (398 of 704)

The data is only regarding players with more than 500 Rifle vs Rifle engagements during the year. Collected from rib.gg.

To see the chart showing the data and the full ranking list, check out the Twitter Post.

its computed by

(First Kills+First Deaths)/Rounds played

This rate represents the average number of first kill attempts per Round. It is important to note that this aggressiveness rate does not illustrate if a player has in general a more or less aggressive play-style, it is just a measure for first aggression attempts in the round (the aggressiveness at opening the round).

i haven't include him since he has less than 250 rounds played in the League, but if ur interested in his stats: 0.45 FKSR and 0.32 AR.

Seoldam has not a good Success Rate at the first aggression in comparison to the other duelists of the region but he is the player who makes the most first kill attempts per round (44% of the rounds he attempts a first aggression). But it is important to remark that this rate does not mean a more or less aggressive play-style. For example, although Jinggg has imo a very aggressive style, he has the lowest AR in the PAC League. This is maybe caused since he performs as the second entry in PRX and does not attempt a lot of first duels.

I've done the same work for the 2023 Champions Playoffs. We now get:

  • Derke as the most aggressive opener (with 0.43 AR)
  • Demon1 as the most successful at opening (with 0.68 FKSR)

That means, Demon1 won about 68% of his first aggression attempts!

I've obtained data from their corresponding VCT Leagues to know which duelist is the most successful at opening the map. Here are the results:

  • In EMEA: Derke (with 0.61 First Kill Success Rate and 0.42 Aggressiveness Rate)
  • In Americas: aspas (0.6 FKSR) and dgzin (with 0.39 AR)
  • In Pacific: something (0.61 FKSR) and Seoldam (with 0.44 AR)
