JESUS FUCKING CHRIST SCREAM WTF
no, you just actually have more than 6 functioning braincells
tbf so did I, but especially x10 and cr proved me wrong... I'm very curious to see what they can do in their next natches
or maaaaybe x10 is just not as bad as u thought?
honestly they suprised me, they did very well, especially on ascent, as it was vks' pick
can we really tell tho? there hasn't been any crossregion play for almost 1.5yrs now
My pickem: https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/aa596a45
VKS - X10
Sticking with pickem
I'm going to be honest I didn't watch too many games of neither of these teams, but here I go: I think VKS will take this in a quite convincing fashion, but I can see X10 getting their pick very close or even taking it, but my prediction stands - 2:0
TL - V1
Sticking with pickem
V1 with jammyz haven't been looking as bad as I thought they will, but I still don't see them taking a map off of TL, they might get double digits at their own pick, but that's it.
SEN - FNC
Sticking with pickem
This is going to be the best game of Valorant so far, I believe both of these teams are in the top 3 in the world, if not the 1st and 2nd best. It will be a very close and exhausting series with 2 or all 3 of the maps going to overtime with the decider overtime being over 8 rounds long, but in the end, FNC will take this.
So after all my today's pickems turned out to be correct, I decided that just guessing the winner is boring. So for the next days I will be predicting the match scores, and adding a bit of my reasoning.
Feel free to do the same, don't forget to link ur pickems and to say if you are sticking to it or not.
Yes and literally everyone can pinpoint Texas on a map and guess their flag, while I'm pretty sure that less than 50% of Americans couldn't place Germany, nor guess their flag, and would probably think Amsterdam is one of their cities
Ikr, mfs saying Japan looking insane, NA is shit, while the NA 2nd seed with a stand in just closely beat Japan on their own map... like get checked for brain damage
Ikr, regional diversity my ass, do it the Valve way, you won't
It is nice to see mid-round for example in a 2v3 retake and u can see how much money they have in regards to whether to save or go for the retake
I know that this isn't the point of ur comment, but I figured where else to post this than here. I'm EU Silver and travelling to the US as an exchange student this fall, and I will once and for all prove or bust the myth of EU Plat being NA Iron or vice versa... we'll see in September
How is EU a retirement home?
you also can't watch a game till 2 am if ur waking up early the next day
8am is still better than matches potentionaly ending at 2am
how the fuck did they decide to schedule matches in an EU tournament with better times for NA than EU??
that I don't know, I liked the format of S12 EU
man fuck, the conclusion is they just need to make the events longer
it rewards being first in groups too much in comparison to being 2nd/3rd
if it isnt enough to do gsl - 8se (27 matches) then its also not enough for 16de (30 matches) lol
it would be long enough for 2 DE groups with winners getting seeded to semi-finals, and wb losers and lb winners play quarter finals (opening matches could be BO1) - just like this: https://liquipedia.net/counterstrike/DreamHack/2021/Spring
How is mentioning Slovakia (which has 0.007 spots btw), relevant to Brazil deserving their spots?
Yet we still have more than twice the GDP per capita of Brazil
Also the classical Brazilian strategy.
Step 1: Run out of arguments
Step 2: Insult the other sides flag as if it has anything to do with the topic
-saying someone is dumb
-thinking brazil is anywhere close the population of europe
pick one
boaster and derke have a lot of smaller lan experience from cs, while except for the lan qualifier match, I've found that only Klaus has had any prior lan experience
if the bracket works the same as the SEA one, then losers of SEN/FNC and TL/V1 go to R1 and losers of VK/X10 and SH/NU go to R2, but we haven't had official confirmation of which way it will work. I agree that the one u listed would be more fair
the obvious one 5 days 2 groups of 5, single elimination playoffs, 4 matches every weekday, semifinals on saturday, bronze match and finals on sunday
they lost to vitality yesterday tho
then maybe not do a 1 week? MSI was 3 weeks with like 6 days being rest days + semifinals on different days, riot easily could've cut half or more of the rest weeks and given them to Masters
get free cash for being from a shit region
Seriously Riot? U gave League a 3 week event with like 75-84 possible matches (maps), and u give Valorant a 7 day event with 37-56 maps??? What a disgrace. At least we got the bigger prizepool
Let's go McBTSMac, avenge Kanga from CQ1
+1, he deserves this
riot finally add a good map to valorant and here come people like ogblazen who decided that the map is shit because they didn't even play it once before it came to comp and now don't know how to play it. smh
oh shit, I didn't even think of that. makes sense actually as Nivera was mainly an AWPer in CS, even though he was a beast even with rifles in Vitality, where he never got the chance to pick up the Primary AWP
ok hear me out: he is a beast and would be a great addition for (soulcas or link??)
BUT why fix something that ain't broke?? I mean they're literally the freshly crowned European Champions
i know this is not entirely the same, but in VOT (pretty much VCT for Oceania, but not the same) a team lost 3 of their players between Challengers 1 and Challengers 2, but were able to keep their spot, so I think they will be able to keep the points
they're 1-1 in bragging rights matches
