Surely we learned our lesson to NOT rule out teams after 1 map? G2 literally were down 11-0 on their first map and won the series

posted 11 months ago

Wouldn't rule out GenG just yet

posted 11 months ago

Okay, so you see, the secret is to

posted 11 months ago

I would do anything to get rid of DFM man. Switch them out for a T2 Japanese team for all I care, get them out of the league

posted 11 months ago

-1 Japanese spot (DFM) for an Aussie/New Zealand team

Truly the darkest timeline

posted 11 months ago

I have 0 faith in FUT after that dogwater performance against 100T.

posted 11 months ago

But they also lose Split

posted 11 months ago

Idk how you actually think TH > G2 when G2 has not only beaten them already, but also beat better teams.

Can't believe LOUD is signing Hiko

posted 11 months ago

Kinda worried for him if the supposed Raze nerfs are big. What if keeping Monyet long term was a better choice?

posted 11 months ago

Toronto would be a better time zone though no?

posted 11 months ago

I'm down for a Filipino event

posted 11 months ago

Masters Amundsen–Scott Station goes hard 💥💥

posted 11 months ago

I have yet to see a single Mongolian on this site

posted 11 months ago

True. I think Canada as the better NA choice atm considering the cancer that is US Visas

posted 11 months ago

I fuck with this a lot

posted 11 months ago

Riot has held Worlds at MSG already. They can definitely do it again

posted 11 months ago

Man they can still get the viewership with 3 seeds. Give that last spot to the region with the Shanghai winner.

posted 11 months ago

Funny enough, I based it off that 1 CS:GO event held there, but now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure that event had no crowd, or a really small one. Mexico City would probably be a better choice.

posted 11 months ago

Can switch Masters 1 and 2 locations tbh.

posted 11 months ago

I know there's been an insane amount of events held in Europe, but there's a good reason for that.

posted 11 months ago

Minsk

lmao

posted 11 months ago

reason I'm not opposed to more events in Europe is because of time zones.

posted 11 months ago

I'd actually be really down for a Champs in London.

posted 11 months ago

I really hope you're joking lmao

I want Riot to get a little funky with the locations next year. This year we had/will have Madrid, Shanghai, and Seoul.

Masters 1: Want this in APAC that doesn't include Korea.
-Masters Singapore would be cool. Would be my #1 choice
-Masters in Australia, ideally in Sydney. Host it at the same IEM Sydney event for CS.
-Masters Jakarta?

Masters 2: I want this to be in NA for sure. By this point, it'd be 4 events in a row without an event in NA, and we've only held 1 so far (LA Champs)
-Masters New York City (Madison Square Garden would be nuts)
-Masters Chicago
-Masters Toronto (imo, the best place to hold an event in Canada)
-Masters Mexico City for Mexico

Champs 2025:
-Maybe South America? Doesn't have to be Brazil. Argentina would be neat. Buenos Aires perhaps?
-Not opposed to Europe either. Think the best location would be Paris, France as Riot has a good track record with events held there.

Yeah I blame that on the Chinese more than anything. Their favorite teams are shitting the bed, then the whole place turns into a library.

posted 11 months ago

Are you retarded? They're in the smaller studio crowd until Top 3 playoffs. Last 3 days are played at Mercedes-Benz Arena. though tbf, we don't know how good the larger Chinese crowd will be like.

posted 11 months ago

I still think PRX are an insane team. They underestimated G2 heavily, but I think they steamroll EDG here. 2-0 PRX

posted 11 months ago

I think GenG's experience at Madrid can bring them a long way here

posted 11 months ago

You should add some more >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> between EMEA and China because China is truly some dogwater atm

posted 11 months ago

Wow you had no faith in PRX lmao

posted 11 months ago

2/4. Could've gotten 3/4, but I switched Fnatic and GenG last minute https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/1a1c3b15

posted 11 months ago

Damn you're right. Split them up and give SA 1-2 spots or something

posted 11 months ago

Meanwhile NA and SA have to fucking share

posted 11 months ago

They can still have spots, but they don't deserve the SAME amount as the stronger regions. Let them have 3 spots at Champs and give the region with the winner of this tournament the extra spot.

posted 11 months ago

Might be TH's revenge match, but I won't underestimate G2 again. For me, this is a coinflip match 50/50

posted 11 months ago

This is why we need events at neutral locations like Australia. Those mfers in CS just cheer for anyone

posted 11 months ago

They, at the least, deserve -1. Give that 1 spot to the region with the previous international winner

posted 11 months ago

It's time to let go of VIT. It's not happening blud

posted 11 months ago

Verno turned 18 in late April. He's probably sticking to OXY since they seem to be the favorites for Ascension.

posted 11 months ago

They really shouldn't be importing. Plenty of Tier 2 NA players to choose from. Pati has options in EMEA

posted 11 months ago

He for sure gets picked up.

posted 11 months ago

G2 players have some insane mental. Swear sometimes they have terrible halves or maps, but they bounce back effortlessly.

posted 11 months ago

There's just no way man

posted 11 months ago

Relax my friend. The map just started

posted 11 months ago

You may have jinxed it blud
