I like how some people are saying that we are PRIVILIGED and LUCKY to be part of all Tier1 events, and that Tier2/3 teams have to grind so hard to get there.
You motherfuckers don’t even know what the real GRIND is, I have been grinding whole my life to get where I am today. I have been grinding when there was no online qualifiers every 2nd week, no Tier2 events to prove yourself anywhere, no faceit or whatsoever.
Nowadays there is so many opportunities to prove yourself, so many different platforms, qualifiers and t2 events DAILY. And you still cry how hard it is to get in Tier1 event.

I do not like Doug and balla at all. They have no synergy, balla has a really weird cadence, and his analysis barely ever makes sense. Doug brings the hype sometimes but is otherwise uninteresting. My least favorite duo in tier 1 by far.

Smart to go with proven LAN players and then build around them. If they qualify to ascension they have an advantage with 3/5 of their squad being experienced on LAN compared to TGRD who were dog at masters and m80 who are question marks.

G2 lost to m80 because they had to play their two worst maps. They ban pearl and are bad on fracture. If split and lotus were in the pool (M80s worst maps) it could easily have been 3-1 or 3-2 for g2. Are we gonna ignore the ascent game and act like g2 couldn't beat m80 at all?
And that 12-8 is just speculation. Who's to say if they replayed it, g2 don't win 13-7? It's just random guessing from you lmao. Coping so hard that g2 beat your team

Not at all, I think they clearly improved over the split in all aspects except their map pool. The 4 you mentioned have had very high peaks as the best teams in NA. V1 had a fire challengers split, qualified for LAN. shahz and dapr won a masters and several challengers after that. Not to mention that was against teams and players that are in VCT now.
Give this team time to improve their map pool. The players don't need to get better, the team does. And they will with immi and g2 infrastructure and willingness to pay for boot camps.
I respect it but I also think you're not giving g2 enough credit for what they've done in a short time + the caliber of players and coach. Shahz and dapr are champs, wippie and penny were on some very good teams, and OXY is a breakout star. This team is much more dangerous than MxM imo
