just universities funding the teams.

issue with T2 is that theres not enough money to be made but colleges are subsidizing their teams so yeah

"fut fans"

do not lump the rest of us with number1_cNed_fan, not all of us are mentally challenged like him

I mean tbf there isn't any "objective" way to answer who the best player is, you can look at stats for example but then they don't necessarily reflect the full picture, or you can go with title wins etc, that's what makes it so interesting to talk about. What do different people value more in a player. But yeah i agree with your comment anyways

The "team with the most funding in Valorant" famously quit all of esports because of monetary reasons...

Eh, i can still see an argument for astra on certain maps like lotus and split (the suck change isn't as big of a deal as ppl think imo)

And harbor still exists as a viable option on maps like haven and sunset. if we're shifting towards more smokes = good then to me it makes sense to play as much harbor as possible, his kit is all smokes and enables you to do creative and interesting plays. But most pro players will not take the time to learn him and as a result you'll see shit walls like the ones TenZ was throwing. Not the only example either.

The only good harbors from what I can tell are TuyZ and Forsaken, maybe Som. So I think he's underutilized bc the skill floor is really high for him compared to Omen.

posted 8 months ago

bro if anything breach is overrated for the love of god stop playing breach on haven it's so troll to not play viper

ngl yoru phoenix and gekko are kinda underrated

as far as overrated imo, omen jett and breach

posted 8 months ago

kinda sad that people will be so toxic and childish instead of enjoying good games of valorant

like it's normal to support a team and want them to win but also as spectators we want to see the best quality games and sometimes opponents are better, nothing wrong with that. bunch of immature kids on this site imo

posted 8 months ago

especially now with premiere... imagine cooking up a drx style exec with the team and massacring... calling on fracture is so fun

Fancy United 1-3 PRX

i'd say they already look better than their game against TTR

from what i saw this tournament they have an incredibly solid ascent, their haven is really strong and the rest of the maps are decent, except sunset which imo needs a lot of work (also they should go back to the omen harbor breeze comp but that's probably a hot take)

vod review after GCC will be crucial, still lots of ground to improve on especially mel's calling on certain maps. that being said, the girls absolutely deserved this win and knowing the hard work they put into it this year, they're definitely capable of improving to the point of making the Challengers main circuit, imo

shes SO GOOD

I completely agree, the more you play against T2 teams you'll see more success. It's kinda crazy to me that like effys (or maybe mel) said in an interview that so few GC teams are actually playing against male teams. Maybe it's bc there's less teams interested in playing but I think effys said that V1 was basically trying to get into as many co-ed events as they could. And it shows in the level of play that they have.

I'm hoping they can make a good Challengers qualifier early next year, if anyone can do it it's this core.

viper still a good pick on ascent tbh, fancy united wall on A site is broken

tmv viewers will know

posted 9 months ago

It's interesting bc to me the util is what makes it an interesting game, like I've tried playing CS2 but it never really struck that same vibe that Valo did

And it's cool that people can enjoy different games, no need for ppl to get toxic

posted 9 months ago

as someone who watches T2 latam i agree

talent is there but not developed at all. it's probably better to sign Tex and change to english (which they probably would have done anyways bc Aspas + coaching staff) rather than take a huge risk on a random Tier 2 player who may or may not be up to Tier 1 standards. Even then, it's obvious to me that this Lev roster was made to win some major titles so even if this bet on a Tier 2 player works it might still be harder to get to a championship winning level.

So yeah overall, I don't think language is as big of a deal as people make it out to be, and on top of that Tex is a cracked player so it's just a matter of time and most importantly chemistry between these guys.

cap, aca en SA apoyamos a BR antes que cualquier NA fraud o otros equipos

basically everything people said, also the prowlers are better for reclearing c mound and a rubble, basically how every team plays lotus now. fade is harder to master though

statistically it is, no need to get mad over facts... they never said they were the best or anything lmao

So, since V1 reached the grand finals of Stage III

what happens in VCT americas? does EG GC qualify to Sao Paulo due to 2nd place, or is SR qualified bc of circuit points?

how tf no one said TMV? he's so goated

posted 11 months ago

i agree tbh, viper stall is better than cypher and on attack flank isn't really that big of a deal (just have to be aware)

my premier team is running Yoru, Skye, Sova, Harbor, Viper and we've had really good results so far in 5 stack games. the walls are actually crazy good for stalling, and a sova dart is deadly for spam behind the smokes. Yoru is just a comfort pick, looking to combine the TP with cove lineups.
