edit 2: a lot of people are looking at this as an independent incident and thinking that nadeshot left over the race joke, I think that was just the trigger. in the first 100T game they kept being passive aggressive to each other, at the beginning of the second game nadeshot explicitly said something along the lines of "I'm quitting nicotine so I'm a bit on edge, can you not push my buttons?" and in this third game FNS kept responding seriously to what are clearly jokes and especially the "can you tell me what makes boostio good?" question, if it was a genuine question then he would've either just answered it after nadeshot couldn't answer it the first time or moved on but he kept pressing (also this is a stupid question, even if you asked pro players to answer it they'd have different answers)

yeah I can understand being at a "disadvantage" for the first one or two games max, I didn't think loud losing to NRG was a catastrophe since it was understandable with their circumstances but to continue being bad after 3+ games just indicates a problem with the team. we've seen a lot of teams use new strats/comps and win with them in a matter of DAYS much less weeks. NRG used different haven and lotus comps in playoffs last year and won, loud went into champs 2022 finals with very little haven preparation and beat the best haven team at the time. PRX makes new strats/comps for every other game and does well with them

why are people acting like good teams should need months to adjust their strats? loud went into champs grand finals with a few days of preparation for haven and beat the best haven team at the time, NRG 2023 swapped their lotus comp like 5 different times and practiced the haven harbor comp for one day before beating furia and c9 with it (not to mention all the role swaps at the beginning of the season). PRX pretty much makes new strats and comps for every other match.

we've also seen plenty of teams go through the lower finals and win the grand finals despite having the map ban disadvantage and the other team having a day to anti-strat them. various pros have mentioned that anti-strats are a very small part of the game plan generally yet people will say shit like "sen has a lot of footage on them so other teams can anti strat them". this shit happens to every top team and they get through it, if they don't then they're just shit

TL,DR: top teams can quickly adjust their strats and play well even with a lot of footage about them and sen being unable to do that is their fault and not some format issue or anything like that

if sen was "trying new shit" you'd be saying the opposite. we've seen loud try new shit and it didn't work 90% of the time (including previous years), we've seen navi try new shit and it also very rarely worked out. the only team who consistently did it is prx. if anything, fnatic proved last year that the best way to be consistent is to play standard comps at a very high level
