I actually think they have a decent chance of making it but they're definitely not getting top 3 there

posted 5 months ago

I kinda doubt they're gonna remain a package deal, it could work in 2022 or 2023 where their stocks were high enough that they were both worth it but now it's extremely unlikely for a tier 1 team to pick up both of them and I don't think they're gonna play in tier 2 just to stay together. I can see either of them alone being an upgrade to some teams, but together they're not worth it

posted 5 months ago

yeah as if drx was gonna win shit in 2023 if he didn't "ruin the chemistry". what is this delusion?

posted 5 months ago

he probably wants a coach that's gonna let them troll their comps like they're doing right now, in 2023 they trolled tokyo too

posted 5 months ago

funnily enough, loud has been shit since he left ๐Ÿ˜นmibr is also shit but their player quality is nowhere near as good as loud

posted 5 months ago

either way, tokyo and berlin are worth far more than iceland (played against farmers) and madrid (played against teams that were formed 2 weeks prior to the event) kkkkkkkkkkk

posted 5 months ago

sacy was the worst player in sen's madrid run and loud's third best player in their champs run

posted 5 months ago

they still haven't played internationally with their full squad kkkkkkkkkk

furia is NOT winning, even against 100T they played horrible, 100T just somehow played even worse
the number of throws I saw from furia that game was insane

they went 0-2 in playoffs no matter how you try to decorate it ๐Ÿ˜นdecent performance relative to other teams, but compared to their 2023 performance? very mediocre showing

you sent literally one text message, wtf is that supposed to prove? are you seriously retarded?

posted 5 months ago

? what is this image supposed to prove? I see plenty of text chat toxicity that doesn't receive a response, hell I've been toxic myself and nothing happened

It's always been about love and hate, now let me say I'm the biggest hater
I hate the way that you call, the way that you judge, I hate the way that you fluked
I hate the way that you sneak judge, if I catch flight, it's gon' be direct
We hate the teams that you beat 'cause they confuse themself with real good teams
And notice, I said "we," it's not just me, I'm what the viewers feelin'
How many more fairytale stories 'bout NRG 'til we had enough?
How many more fluke wins 'til you finally feel that you're not good enough?
I like BLG with the lose streaks, I donโ€™t like BLG when they have fluke run

plenty of games constantly release updates targeted at countering player toxicity, even if those updates are minor and barely do anything (same with valorant). I don't know what makes you think valorant in particular is trying very hard to counter toxicity when it really isn't, you can say whatever you want in voice chat with no consequence and unless you say one of the auto ban words in text chat then it's very unlikely for you to get banned. also idk where you get the idea that edaters make up a large part of the community, they were probably less than 5% of the community at the peak of valorant edating and even that was mostly in north american servers, I've had less than 10 games with clear edaters on my team in three years of playing on bahrain/dubai servers

I don't think he's a social commentary guy, most people are just watching him for internet drama which he delivers in an entertaining way
also I don't think I've ever seen him have an opinion that was particularly disagreeable, which doesn't really mean he "has no backbone" it's more like most of the drama he covers is really straightforward with a clear right from wrong
the real question is who is bored enough to give a shit about the most random internet drama ๐Ÿ—ฟ

posted 5 months ago

the point is that sacy has been relatively mediocre and as far as we know he isn't contributing much to team vibes or doing anything notably special, there are plenty of other recon players that are better mechanically and have similar utility usage

posted 5 months ago

that's just tacitly agreeing that it happened though, what kind of innocent man would ignore allegations?

posted 5 months ago

sen have 5 champions and didn't make regional playoffs ๐Ÿ’€

posted 5 months ago

the only two teams that have insane aim all across the board from the ones you mentioned are gen.g and TH. sen for example has zellsis and sacy who both have very mid or even bad aim relative to other top teams
that aside I do think having the extra firepower from the igl can be useful but good calling is generally far more impactful, you're far more likely to lose a round cause of a bad call than due to your igl not shooting

side note: boostio has been very underwhelming mechanically this year

posted 5 months ago

comparing his job to a teacher is crazy, teachers plan and work 10x harder and have to deal with far harsher students than the average kid he gets in his coaching sessions

posted 5 months ago

if all he wanted to do was qualify then he would've kept the old roster, if they can't beat the top 2 in their region then the roster changes are justifiable

you say gen.g has lost multiple times in pacific which means pacific has good teams, then in the next breath you say TH "dominating most teams". TH went 3-3 just like gen.g and navi has only lost to TH and BBL since the beginning of the year. using your argument: since a mid team like BBL can beat navi, does that mean emea mid table is very strong?

your arguments are overall horrible and we both know very well the pacific teams excluding PRX, gen.g and MAYBE drx are all ass. T1 are even worse than fut, fnc are better than drx. BBL, Vitality, and even TL are all better than the mid table pacific teams

what value does sacy bring that someone like, say, n4rrate can't bring?

posted 5 months ago

I think it's fine for him to poke fun at ongoing drama but he's made like 3+ hate vids on some content creators like shahzam and averagejonas, that's just really cringe

posted 5 months ago

the funniest part about you is that you think you're funny

posted 5 months ago

how is termi the issue here? their player quality is simply lower than other top teams, it's amazing that he even led the old team that far despite their (relatively) middling mechanics

posted 5 months ago

mindfreak? is that the guy that goes -20 whenever it matters?

posted 5 months ago

I began following drx in 2022, I'm not sure what roster changes you're talking about tbh ๐Ÿ—ฟ

posted 5 months ago

that was in regular season where drx was pretty much confirmed into playoffs and the off season events since he wanted to let stax learn a bit, afaik he never did that in any important game. iirc mini did a similar thing with boaster

posted 5 months ago

whenever a team without an obvious weak link or with likable players performs badly, people immediately jump to hate on the coach

the two most notable examples of this are chet and termi. people will jump to hate on chet then in the next sentence glaze potter who also had HORRIBLE results for 2+ years, and don't mention player quality since that EG team wasn't even "mid" (in terms of performance), they were straight up ass. optic/NRG had good strats for 2021 to 2023, I don't see why one bad year is immediately blamed on the coach. it could be his fault, but it's practically impossible for us to say that in all confidence

termi is imo one of the best coaches in the game and yet gets hate for his choices on drx. I have quite literally never seen someone, at any point in time, put any of the old drx players in their top 10 aside from mako and yet that roster managed to do good in 2022 and 2023. people will still blame termi for trying to change things up, if anything he shouldn't have brought zest back in 2023 and stayed with foxy9 even if they performed badly as first (foxy9 proved himself to be a great player this year too).

at what point do you accept that drx had reached their peak and changes were necessary? that team's only consistently great player was mako (along with maybe buzz), stax was given many opportunities and his igling was always mid yet they could still make it far because of their strats. a lot of their strats are still used by top teams TO THIS DAY.

that aside, I think he (or the management) were wrong to drop rb and zest that late into the off season, they should've dropped them earlier so they had more time to find a team.

that's still true lmfao, can't believe I finally saw a T1 fan ๐Ÿ˜นit's wild how they keep fluking their way to events just to get absolutely shit on

posted 5 months ago

nah, kick s0ygetsu and ange1. suygetsu has been mid forever and ange1 throws every other round along with having mediocre calls

posted 5 months ago

BBL got shit on harder just a while ago + f0t will never accomplish half as much as navi has internationally, those bots never even made top 4 ๐Ÿ’€

posted 5 months ago

yeah the point is that navi's issue isn't firepower and younger people aren't necessarily mechanically better than people in their late 20s

posted 5 months ago

isn't gen.g filled with these "late 20s" people?

posted 5 months ago

they had a very similar performance in split 1 and NRG has likely improved far more than SEN considering the roster changes
