I’d favour Jdg over fpx for the second China spot but it depends on how well fpx intergrate life they could be crazy
Can certainly make ascension with this team and already seem like a dark horse for that tourney but who knows which other teams will make it
Fnatic play a very slow default heavy style which obviously works for them most the time but can be exploited by high level teams with similar firepower like loud last year. If Fnatic can add more pace mix ups and maintain all their good qualities from 2023 they’re going to stay number 1 + icebox back and no pearl means their current map pool is better than the champs one but that’ll change throughout the year
why is demon1 not going crazy at tokyo important it was his first international lan and it was up in the air about whether he'd attend so they were practicing without him + with proper prac and no first international lan nerves he got MVP at champs
Edg and Jdg are quite similar power level and I could see either making an international run but I’ve given edg the edge due to their experience as well as being the better team coming into the new year but these 2 could change.
Fpx are looking to be the funnest team to watch in China with BerLin cooking some of the craziest strays with the rest of the team being cracked aimers, similar to NAVI but if they can integrate life well and autumn takes to flexing well this team has crazy potential.
Trace are another team with crazy potential, with fengf showing that he is a consistent high performer and one of the best players in the league whilst still having decent flexibility. This team will need to match his level if they want to be a top 3 team but during evo they showed good signs and I was especially impressed with YOU in particular.
BLG have not looked so hot since champs, whether it’s the coaching change or not I’m not sure but they’ve been a bit all over the place. So the fact they’ve brought in a new igl to replace arguably their weakest link (rin) is good news for this team and could well bring some life back to this team.
Wolves I’ve rated higher here than other lists I’ve seen but I’m so impressed with spring and what he’s done on NTER and NIP. He is showing the he is a top entry player consistently and hasn’t had much luck being on a top team. Yuicaw really impressed me as a senti during his time on Ase and pl1xx has always been a good player despite him one tricking yoru on weibo for a while. Crazy high potential team if spring is properly supported and enabled.
Tyloo is a team I was high on going into the champs qualifier and they looked decent but dropped the ball for that 3rd qual spot. This team has looked lost since, dropping SORRYMYBAD just to bring him back and just generally making roster changes that weren’t necessary imo. Now they’ve lost abo and got hfmi and have potential to be a top team if ninebody gets his confidence back and they can get the chemistry right but I’ve lost a bit of hope in this team.
Tec are 100% the biggest dark horse of cn imo alongside wolves. The signing of rb is a huge boost to add to some already good players like abo and shameless. I struggle to rank this team higher due to them being so new but I mean if they can maximise rb to his full potential and the chemistry is there I can see this team reaching a top spot.
DRG are rated this low only because of the firepower of the other squads. Yes they just beat Ase and ra in a crazy run showing their potential but in those games they were getting bailed out of disadvantaged states by vookashu so often that it feels as other teams improve rapidly as you’d expect from a young region they won’t be able to rely on one player as much. If another player or 2 steps up this team has potential but I can’t rank them any higher despite their ascension run.
All gamers and nova both seem to have some of the leftovers that haven’t been picked up, with neither team looking to do anything crazy. GuanG is a nice pickup for nova but I’m not too familiar with either squad and will need more exposure to put them any higher
GuanG is a good player and all but from all the leaked rosters this team looks extremely underwhelming and I can’t see them being any better than 10-11th I’m happy to be proven wrong tho

It’s so hard to tell how either team would play on a given day they’ve both been inconsistent and pretty weak in evo series but BLG has been a bit better

Wolves will be decent in cn with spring yuicaw and pl1xx I definitely don’t think they’ll be f tier prolly top 5-6 in cn
I’ve got no furia stocks or anything idc about the team, but they were quite unwell in the ge match and so I don’t think that result matters THAT much

Avl sen beats rbhg fnatic but that’s only because Fnatic hadn’t been scrimming and were just using old strats with sen hard scrimmimg and cooking. With equal prep Fnatic would win atm for sure but later in the year sen has potential to be up there if they continue improving

So I was way off ra looked a whole tier above as a team today, but I’m also confused at Ase trying to first time sunset against a proven sunset team instead of taking them to haven which is generally their comfort pick but whatever
No doubt ra SHOULD win the tourney and good luck to them
Zeta definitely has improved but I think the competition has also improved a lot as well with prx/drx always gonna be projected top 2 and then competition for 3rd with bleed/rrq/t1 it’s hard to be too confident in top 3 but potential is 100% there
I think he looked good at convergence and there’s been so many duelists that have become senti/flex or pure senti so I think it’s worth giving him a chance
Gonna be cool to see all leagues with a super team this season instead of just emea
