3: BLG (really like what I saw has crazy potential)
4: TRACE (biank in for YOU should be an upgrade, should be better than DRG but who knows)
5: DRG (international experience should help but I still favour above teams, huge potential to punch up)
6: AG (solid team, if they can fix their closing problems from stage 1 could punch up)
7: JDG (look way better than stage 1 but still not rare atom level)
8: NOVA (could be higher swerl + guang is most underrated combo itw)

Now that I think about it a lot of what NRG struggled with especially on bind attack I saw in wolves last night. Spring is already more of an entry than demon1 but the amount of first engagements he was taking was absurd and it looked like he was getting sent in to die most rounds. Yuicaw and pl1xx can both be aggressive players but they weren’t doing any entrying and so spring kinda just got minced every exec. Keep in mind every exec being so very late and then constantly under time pressure whilst seemingly not gaining any map control during the first minute ever. Calls felt slow and indecisive and there was a lot of sitting around doing nothing which BLG punished by holding onto all their util through the round.
This game yesterday had so many parallels to the NRG vs LEV disasterclass but hopefully wolves can improve with so much to learn

With playoffs chances all but gone I think it is time to say this may be the biggest disappointment of 2024. So many good players with a decent kickoff showing but they manage to get worse as the year goes on somehow. Is Sui the best igl they could’ve picked up? Zero1 is in tier 2 and I think he’s more proven just from his time on ase. Also they had a coach that only spoke russian? They pick up yuicaw the senti/duelist and today he played gekko and brimstone. They ran a no cypher comp on sunset today and died to flank every round. I don’t understand how this stacked team is so so bad I really don’t they’ve been so disappointing to watch considering how good their first couple games were

Guys I’m really scared whoever loses this game is kinda cooked for playoffs. My heart is with wolves and I’m hoping the new igl will free up pl1xx to frag out and just generally boost the team. My head is telling me the BLG roster changes are really good tho and any internal issues with biank and Jexen are gone so BLG will be a lot more positive overall which is scary. Spring vs Whzy will be a crazy matchup if both are firing and the 2 new igls calling battle will be fun to watch. Tbh this might be the stage 2 match I’m most excited for so hopefully it delivers.
