How good are they really? I don't keep up with T2-3 that much
TSM fans because they are delusional and they haven't won anything in all of 2021, yet every time they make a roster move tsm fans won't shut up about how "tsm is back"
its not about the org... its the players. I had never heard of version1 until they signed their valorant roster, and they made it to iceland
it seems like a lot of faze "fans" were fake so respect to you for staying true to your squad
NA- SEN, XSET, ENVY
EU- TL, FNATIC, ACEND, G2
Brax and Thief both fresh off their teams, but because mummay awps a lot, he could transition to jett, and they pick up an astra/omen player
I am excited to see who LG picks up, and how they play with their new pickups. (my guess is brax and b0i)
I didn't even realize you were back welcome back bro the site missed you
yeah, but during the closed qualifiers for challengers, tsm was still ranked top 5 NA on vlr after not making the first 2
Vlr for forums, thespike for ranking system
i just hope for good games idc who makes Iceland i don't even have a favorite team
Not necessarily, although it is harder to contribute a lot to the team as a duelist if you're having a slow frag day, so that ability to fall back on a different agent is a huge help to a team. Kind of like when 100T dropped Dicey so they could agent flex. Basically, It's not specifically because their playing duelists, more the inability to be useful in different ways
You're gonna get downvoted but I agree
Sick>Victor and Asuna purely because of ability to agent flex. While Asuna and Victor are better duelists, Asuna only plays duelist and Victor isn't that good on other agents. If Asuna or Victor have trouble fragging, they aren't very useful to their team, whereas Sick can play Sage (or sova on icebox) if he needs to
dont think that will happen lol
steel doesn't seem to be a fan of metas
not suggesting that they should make any urgent changes ASAP, but after not qualifying for Iceland, which is a huge hit to them considering they were widely regarded as the #2 team in NA, is there anything that needs to be changed? let me know what you think
Steel is the only one with a history of being a bad person, and Hiko's use of the n word on stream almost guarentees that he uses it off stream, in a casual manner. idk how this is a bad take, considering the rest of them have almost squeaky clean histories
Sen 2-1 (could go either way, doesn't really matter because I think both will go to iceland)
Haven- Attack
Bind- Defense
Split- Defense
Ascent- Defense
Icebox- Attack
Breeze- Most balanced map so far, hard to tell but I'm leaning defense
Steel is an asshole, Hiko uses the n word, the rest are cool, but when the two biggest personalities are the 2 worst people on the team, that will bring hate
im guessing xeppaa or floppy replacing him, small chance that it's tarik but it's not impossible
you right actually, I was sleep deprived when I wrote this and completely forgot he got signed to NRG lmao
imo steels igl capabilities don't make up for how bad he is at fragging. Also, Nitr0 has shown extremely good igl skills in cs, winning the grand slam as igl. I think steel could be the best coach in NA.
Tenz, cned, mwzera, scream
Underrated: Android
Overrated: Steel
LG Yaboidre, I still see him get hate for his time on 100t, but he's turned into a beast for LG.
FaZe Marved, always solid, almost always performs when his team needs him to.
NRG Android, Insane fragger, almost guaranteed top ACS every match.
C9 White Jazzyk1ns, also an insane fragger, absolutely insane when she's at her peak performance.
tsm is really bad right now wdym
I can definitely see why you would say that given how they have been playing so far, but I think brax will pick it up because of his undeniably insane mechanical skill, and AZK can be great on support
I am just an analytical person, so I like to think how things would change with roster changes. SEN is no doubt top 1 team NA and they need no roster change :)
Was just having fun with a hypothetical situation man :)
Thanks man, I appreciate people that give true feedback rather than just hate, (I didn't think this website could get more toxic than hltv lmao) this wasn't a genuine move I think they should make, I just like to explore what if scenarios.
Classic sinatraa fanboy, relax im not suggesting they make this move
Thank you for having one of few actual responses, a lot of people didn't realize I wasn't suggesting they make this move, I'm just experimenting with scenarios. I definitely think that Sentinels needs no roster changes. I was thinking about making a thread on possible roster moves for teams that struggle getting over the hump (faze, tsm, etc.)
obviously no reason to change the number 1 roster in NA, just seeing what others think about it, hence the "Do you think this would work"
Do you think this would work? Brax can play cypher to replace Dapr, considering brax is one of the best lurkers in NA, and AZK is able to play omen to replace Zombs
Edit: I've caused a lot of confusion, so I should clarify that I don't think Sentinels should make any roster changes anytime soon unless something drastically changes, this was just a hypothetical situation, and I planned on writing more for other teams.
they should pick up Jamppi instead
