Americas tier 2 is better than some regions tier 1

posted 6 months ago

APAC better than EMEA to be fair but they don’t have the quality depth that Americas have

posted 7 months ago

I thought so too but watching split 1 changed my mind, Americas is better

posted 7 months ago

G2 I think slightly ahead of 100T but otherwise it’s good

posted 8 months ago

Na 100T is not tier 2 and I say this as SEN fan, you gotta show more respect. C9 on another hand is a different story…

posted 8 months ago

Saying you are more confident with a 100T 2-0 than vice versa is madness but I agree with all your other points. SEN don’t usually blow teams out and it will be a close match, people are underrating the strength of Americas teams. I genuinely think multiple APAC and Americas teams that didn’t make Shanghai clear most if not all EMEA teams for example.

Calm down I don’t think he meant it in a bad way, glad SEN won but ggs to all the other good teams at the tournament

This is what happens when a clown CEO decides he knows how to reshape a team, with a bunch of XSET dudes who never achieved anything

I know Tanzanians of Indian descent, they definitely consider themselves Indian.

Remember when folks on here said SEN are finished after Furia took a map off them? Maybe its just that BR are really good now.

Gambit isn't really EU anyways, they are CIS. It's mainly the EU fans that we will go after and for good reason. Much respect for GMB and their players.

posted about 3 years ago

It was more than stomped, VKS were annihilated. BR fans had to resort to threatening to knife dapr IRL on Twitter lol

posted about 3 years ago

It was not winnable as they didn't have Hiko's recon bolt. No way with minimal util they could have taken site.

posted about 3 years ago

People like Plat Chat counting SEN out for no reason other than "a hunch". Smh

posted about 3 years ago

I would put Gen. G and Faze above C9 as the latter seems to have massively fallen off over the last month, especially from a mid rounding perspective. Faze have clearly worked some stuff out so will be interesting to see how they play next weekend.

Wardell is top 10 but 2 is too high atm. This isn't 2020.

posted about 3 years ago

This is honestly the most accurate list. TenZ, Shahz, and SicK are all top 5 and Asuna is second best after TenZ. Made by someone who actually watches the games.

posted about 3 years ago

Top 25 is way too broad, that's an insane take. I only consider the top 8 teams tier 1 and 9-12 tier 1.5. Everyone else is a clear step below.

He's the best, Nitro is the better fragger but is not a great controller, Vanity is a slightly worse controller and less clutch but may have more overall mechanical skill.

posted about 3 years ago

There's not a better controller in NA, Vanity is the only one who comes close imo. He's also one of the most clutch players around at the moment and has done it at the highest levels. Are there better players in terms of pure skill, probably, but not many who have a better understanding of the game.

posted about 3 years ago

Ya but most of DZ's games have been against tier 2 and 3 while zombs is a proven quality at a global LAN, you can't compare the two.

posted about 3 years ago

Who else wants to see cNed vs. TenZ? Two best players in the world for me.

posted about 3 years ago

They at least got more rounds against SEN over two maps than last time IIRC

posted about 3 years ago

I would say SEN's attack on Haven is well studied by now, they have to spend the next few weeks retooling their T sided strats.

posted about 3 years ago

You can call him food or Victor but NV has always had the exact same issues.

posted about 3 years ago

Haven is usually T sided what are you smoking? Lol

posted about 3 years ago

These stupid EU takes don't matter anymore after Reykjavik, no one cares

posted about 3 years ago

It's because SEN broke them on Bind and showed others the formula.

posted about 3 years ago

C9 fans deserved it with all the incessant down voting they do. In all seriousness though I'm disappointed because C9 have so much firepower.

posted about 3 years ago

Stupid SQ fans, didn't learn your lesson from last time. You now know your place.

On a serious note, it's funny how months have passed yet SQs map pool hasn't changed at all. Tier 1 on Icebox, tier scrub on everything else.

posted about 3 years ago

You're a clown, no one asked for the trash to post here.

posted about 3 years ago

Didn't you people learn your lesson last time.

posted about 3 years ago

Zekken is the next Asuna

posted about 3 years ago

There were people here claiming that G2 would steamroll Berlin.

posted about 3 years ago

You're smoking something if you think this. Derke is better than nukkye and honestly I would rate players like Wardell more than him after seeing him go up twice against SEN. Asuna is the #1 ranked NA player and he's often been a problem for SEN and other NA teams to handle, not to mention how good Ethan is also.

EU fans have seriously underestimated NA this entire time and continue to do so. I personally believe that the margin between EU and NA is quite small. You have a team above every team in either region in SEN, and then a blob of teams from both regions that land in the same tier (in a top 9 I would put 5 NA teams [SEN, C9, 100T, V1, NV] and 4 EMEA teams [FNC, FPX, Gambit, G2 with rumored new roster or Acend with current roster] in no particular order apart from SEN #1). I think any of the EMEA teams can beat the NA teams on a given day and vice-versa. So we can't say one region is far and above the other and can't say the new G2 will dominate anything at this time.

posted about 3 years ago

I can't say teams like XSET or Gen.G can match up with the top EU teams but definitely 100T, NV, C9, V1, and Faze can. All of those teams maybe with the exception of V1 have more firepower than any EU team (V1 have better adaptations and IGL atm though).

posted about 3 years ago

I mean, SEN have made far more history than 100T at this point, don't think they are rivals in that sense.

posted about 3 years ago

Those points don't mean anything right now, very subjective.

posted about 3 years ago

After this I'm not sure I buy the EU depth argument anymore. I would argue teams like C9 may be even better mechanically than SEN and outside of SEN, the best trio on a team is Asuna, Ethan, Nitro on 100T.

Good to see FNC keep all of the maps close but SEN went 5-0 despite all of the strats and utility FNC threw at them.

posted about 3 years ago

To be fair I thought they definitely would take Bind being 9-4 up and defending second half, was a collapse of sorts, need to work on their mental.

posted about 3 years ago

SEN best map? You know they recently lost this map 13-1 to C9 right?

posted about 3 years ago

Most creative team I've come across, am really impressed.

posted about 3 years ago

Na it's just that NU have a good Ascent, FNC is gonna ram them on Haven.

posted about 3 years ago

Nuturn are so bad mechanically, they had the best aim of their lives against V1. Lakia is the only half decent player and he's erratic too.

posted about 3 years ago

Hah that's just like the cold war

posted about 3 years ago

NU still in it, will get a shot against 1 of the 2 EU teams.

posted about 3 years ago

Haha I can't believe this guy said ScreaM was respectful to everyone. This clown at the pre-tournament press conference said 1) he didn't know who was in his side of the bracket, 2) didn't matter anyways as they would destroy everyone, and 3) SEN are so predictable. He had to get some humility after the V1 loss to save face.
