NAOS looks good but not THAT good. ONE can have a pretty big performance and somehow shake them off the track. It's kind of hard to avoid rice, but Kyoto has great soba and udon, with possible tempura, beef, pork, or tofu toppings, plus the ramen "street" in the station is great, with mostly pork. Sweets in tea houses are pretty good (expensive af tho) and u can probably have the Japanese Western stuff.
