cause you have 2 dogs, a seize that combos with both raze and yoru's signature abilities all that in exchange for a scan with slightly worse landing spots and no damage util (to clear corners) which you don't need cause you have 4 drones (2 dogs, 1 boom bot and a clone) and for post plant this map is a spam haven anyway

As we've seen in Valorant Champions 2025 Paris, NRG brawk had allegedly found a new way for Valorant to be played (i.e., with the Odin). With wallbangs and chip damage being a huge winning factor in the way the Odin is used. Now, with chip damage especially in the early rounds on maps like Lotus and Corrode, will we see the rise of heal agents again? Skye, Sage and even Phoenix are viable on some maps so why don't we implement for of these agents into our comps?

Skye has already seen plenty of play on maps like Bind and Split where she was primarily used for her flash. But with Yoru having the more powerful kit AND a flash as well, agents like Skye have been almost entirely replaced by Yoru in team comps where she previously belonged. BUT in this meta, Skye won't be used for her flash but rather her heal. You've seen more experienced players say that heals aren't useful in pro play as you still get one tapped by people with insane aim BUT they forget to mention that it's with the Phantom and Vandal. With the Odin, you actually don't get one tapped to the head and it's more like many instances of small damage rather than one instance of big damage.

I couldn't see Skye and Sage let alone Phoenix being played more in VCT but I would argue that teams surely figure this out within the next year.
If we continue to play Odin, we can see higher pick rates of these agents.
