with the title and the way you structured your post, its safe to assume that you're saying all teams of group b > nrg > eg
fuck no, literally any other team from the group of death should be in lol, the groups were shit
riot is soft its been known
whoever went to play-ins for group b was winning play-ins lets be serious
anything is possible, but 80% chance this doesn't happen
im pretty sure its "random" other than the fact that the play-in winner will not face its own group winner. so its nrg vs loud (sen vs eg) or nrg vs sen (loud vs eg)
wasn’t disagreeing but it was just really funny timing
you’re right, but i didn’t fully mean 1:1 i was just explaining it to op as it seems they don’t know the cs scene and that was the easiest way to explain it.
the one thing i disagree with is the masters/iem thing. i would argue that masters is an equivalent to katowice specifically given the significance of kato within cs history (kato is held in higher regard compared to all other iem tournaments) but everything else you said is right
champs are the val equivalent of cs majors, while masters are the equivalent of like iem katowice or iem dallas, so if a team was able to win like 2 champs in a row while staying consistent both years at masters (maybe not winning but like top 3), then we could start talking about team legacy
but even then its not near astralis haha
when i said flexible, i didn’t mean the flex position, i just meant keeping up with the meta changes within their own postion. it would apply to mako as he’s consistently been one of the best controllers
i would actually argue the opposite. obviously individual legacies in cs are important but i feel more people look at team legacies, ex: early nip and fnatic, astralis era, faze 2022.
with val since the meta is ever changing its hard to stand out as a super flexible player so the people that can are always talked about. i don’t know if we can really speak on team legacies yet other than loud as they’re the only team that has been decently dominant for more than one year.
then again this could just be me waffling
i respect that you’re conscious that you’re just being a hater
she just talked to trents family and girlfriend, hes just being mad for no reason
they were talking about na for this
we all say saadhak is the goat caller, but maybe we’re sleeping on angel with this…
it was a great call by angel to get ardiis to make fns retire by the end of the year and then return back to the rest of them at navi, i gotta respect it
saw someone say this like last week somewhere: c0m was a decent player in a god like system on eg last year
100t definitely didn't have pressure for this kick-off tournament everyone wrote them off before it started, but they looked pretty good i'm happy for the team tbh
"She has made two of the worst teams in valorant two of the best in history" lets calm down eg looked really good but that second half of the sentence is not true dawg
coach - potter or chet
igl - saadhak or fenis (canadian bias)
duelist - aspas (more flexible than demon1 on duelists from what we've seen)
sentinel - less
smokes - 2022 reykjavík marved (canadian bias again)
flex - ethan
could be trying to hide it or reading too much into it and they just don’t like it anymore lol
steel got benched brother
nitr0 left 100t to go back to cs. the real worst decision 100t made was kicking steel thats when it all started going downhill lmaoo
if you have friends to play with it won’t fall off for you for a while
i don’t think the people downvoting this understand that him and stavn are the reason heroic fell apart
wait league really doesn’t have a pro tracker of some sort?
This is gonna seem kinda braindead to most of yall but what is the equivalent website of vlr and hltv for league lmfao i don’t watch really watch league
idk about the rest of eu but ik the scandinavian countries teach english from a very young age
i think BLEED is supposed to have a crazy amount of money unless its a joke that i don’t know about
cause leaf probably doesn't want minimum salary
see i would agree but i’m kinda surprised if the mce vanity clash did happen cause mce kinda built vanity as an igl back in cs
gonna be real, with what fns wants, there is no shot they play this year. a team/org needs to fail horrendously in the next year to make a roster blow up so the org would even look at them as an option.
also i think fns said he would plat for league minimum to make his “dream team” so if that all happened over the next year and it was c9 or 100t it could happen but probably not
this probably means that the reason for vanity being dropped at the start of the year is probably due to coach/igl clash and salary issues instead of how everyone thought that it was only due to c9 being broke lol
I would disagree, zekken has proven this year that he makes more sense as the teams primary duelist. Meaning that TenZ has to move to flex, which the only two agents he’s good at are Jett and KAY/O.
The only reason TenZ is still on the roster is cause he’s the poster boy of SEN and the reason the org gets so much viewership.
TenZ is not a bad player, it’s just that Zekken is a better duelist and there’s a lot more better flex players if they perma move TenZ to flex.
most of the roster leakers/journalists were surprised by mce getting dropped so this one almost definitely came outta nowhere
2133 posts with not even an inkling of a star is actually insane holy shit
idk about you but for me spraying feels really awkward now and the dm spawns are as bad as valos now
old breeze cause it felt like the only map where it wasn’t extremely tight corridors to enter site, but they killed it now
she’s been good, just sova has been a lot better on most maps, but now with the sova nerf and the new map looking like a fade map, you’ll see a lot more fades
Fair.
I think in this situation, Riot should approach an organization that almost made their partnership program and just check if they would be willing to sign the players. They would have control on who gets in, and this is such a specific situation that they could add clauses with orgs in T2 afterwards.
oh god this wasn’t bait? you know that none of those players made even close to 500k right?
Like am I reading into this too far, is that not buying a slot? Cause it really feels like it in that situation lmao
that last sentence confirmed this post was bait.
In Leo’s tweet, he cites concerns of “buying slots” and thats his reasoning for not letting the guard sign to a different org. I was just thinking about how if a free agent team was to win ascension, they are given 2 months to sign to an org. Isn’t this essentially just buying a slot for the VCT, like it would come down to who is willing to pay more money (to the players, not riot as the players are choosing the org)?
"There’s no way M80 ain’t getting the slot.. the fuck man"
