What is this production, bro. We're just watching a podcast with games in-between.

I don't think anybody denies it's weird. But a lot of us have heard so much worse that this is honestly so mild to hate him for, lol. Only person who should care is his mother. She's not our family so no reason for us to hang on to it imo. It's also better for her if we let it go as viewers.

Yeah, it's weird but people get away with worse so I'm not a fan of witch-hunting him for it. The only person who should be mad at him is his mother, hopefully she slaps some sense into him. But really I hope she has no idea what Valorant is and never sees it. No reason for her to know about it.

Anyone getting involved and hating him for it is taking it oddly personal...

Also, OP is clearly being a smart-ass, lol. Point stands.

I hope Lohan is cooking. TL making all internationals this year would be great for them, especially nAts. Bro deserved better these past couple of years.

Did Liquid ever explain why they dropped Kamyk for Serial? Bro plays the exact same role as nAts, and nAts is already world class in that role. Kamyk is popping off right now.

See, here's where things get interesting. What is hate speech?

It's hate speech and punishable to call the President of China Winnie the Pooh if you live in China. Do you agree?
It's hate speech and punishable to reject certain religions in a certain countries. Do you agree?
It's hate speech and punishable to misgender someone in the UK. Do you agree?

You might agree with all of these, or only one or two of them. But notice how the definition of hate speech changes from culture to culture. So, tell me at what points should we restrict freedom of expression in order to combat hate speech, and I'll tell you why the culture next door will tell you something different.

I'm not necessarily agreeing with one side or the other, here. I'm just pointing out that there is no such thing as right to expression when you're actively silencing another side for disagreeing with you.

One can claim they're doing the right thing because the other side is being hateful, but if you ask a devout Christian to look at a man and call them a woman, you're asking them to defy their religion, is that not hateful? Is that freedom of expression?

I say this as someone who'll happily refer to Florescent as a woman. I just recognise that the other side also has the right to not refer to trans-women as women. Especially if it requires them rejecting their own beliefs. At that point you're just telling them to shut up and bow down you.

Yeah, he pulled them out of the mud just to be let down. APK has glimpse of hope but they can't work together it seems.

It's more nuanced than this, though. Transphobia includes misgendering someone, right? Well, there are at least two major religions in which transgenderism is considered a sin, including lying about someone's sex. But I would suppose you would prefer those people not be allowed to have their freedom of expression, right? For some people to be free, others have to be silenced.

Edit: Removed yap.

This guy definitely deadlifts 250kg. Pulled APK out of the mud.

To be fair, VLR users shit-talk everybody.

Politics.

Valorant's player base is split on the trans stuff but Riot is a very progressive company and a good chunk of viewers are also very progressive. Florescent is kind of like a golden goose for Riot and the progressive fans. I think she's a good player but her identity is definitely giving her more defenders than what other players would get.

It's nothing new, all sports have politics and try to push certain players more than others for different reasons.
