Sentinel just means good at defending you don't need a trip, though pro players usually prefer agents with trips which is one(of many reasons) sage and deadlock aren't good in pro play.

Apac has a bigger player base, eventually the number of great apac players will increase until there are many good apac teams, the same is true with China.
