and yet the duelists with flashes have next to no playtime. Reyna is basically a smurf hero and has no value in ranked/pro play. You saw how Phoenix turned out in pro play. I think Entry/Escape should be the norm for duelists. This is purely in a ranked environment. Duelist is the hardest role to play with no team chemistry. 99% of the time you can't depend on your team for flashes, comms unless you're in a higher rank. If they could give duelists more freedom to play risky, it would be better.

I personally don't understand why it's so hard to understand for Riot. This game will always favor duelists with a get-out-of-jail-free card with mobility. First, it was Jett, then Chamber (he was a duelist in his prime), and now Raze.

Look at Iso, Reyna (kinda niche, she can get out free but her kit is selfish), Yoru, Neon or Phoenix. None of them have the freedom of the previously stated duelists. If you're going to fix every duelist, the only way is to make mobility their main role difference.

Initiators have flashes, controllers have smokes, sentinels have traps and mollies. Duelists should have mobility.

Heroes like Iso, Neon, Phoenix don't have bad kits, they're just missing mobility.

For example:
Iso can enter his pocket dimension for a short time and get out.
Phoenix can erupt into flames and be invulnerable for a few seconds (cant shoot back)
Yoru has no timer on TP

Idk just my 2 cents, lmk what you think if you read allat

Let me cook:

For Iso, make it so you can stop his wall wherever you want and it has a set time limit. You can also change his ult where he'll still pull you in, but instead of it being a pocket dimension, you'll just be wherever you pulled your enemy on the map. So if you ult someone on Breeze at B bombsite, the 1v1 is on the site. To balance things in case someone just tries to hide, you can give Iso wallhacks while in the ult.

I think at this point Brazilians just want the old loud back. I don't see them treating him any different.

I can't wait to see fnatic win and Yinsu gets on stage and oils botster up and he victory twerks in front of 40,000 chinese fans OMGGGG.

posted 10 months ago

imagine you win champs on the same year as relegation, the outrage would be crazy. I agree with Conceit though. Only the org would suffer, the players would most likely get picked up very quickly.

posted 10 months ago

tbh all of these are toss ups, I can see it go either way for every team.

posted 10 months ago

I agree, all of these have the potential to go 2-1.

For FPX, I need to see them in international before I make any accurate predictions tbh, I kinda just pulled that score out my cheeks.

I'm still not sold on Leviatan, when your win condition is 1 guy it's always weird. Granted its aspas and he's always consistent but still, I guess we'll see.

G2 vs T1 - G2 wins 2-1
FPX vs FUT - FUT wins 2-0
Leviatan vs GEN G - GEN G wins 2-0
TH vs DRG - TH wins 2-1

That's the only one you have right lmfao. What's the context of the list? Is it based on this split, all time...

posted 10 months ago

This might be the worst thing I've ever seen.

I think the issue is that Ethan and Demon1 might not be compatible with FNS. FNS has said multiple times that he runs a tight ship and stuff along those lines. I'd be worried about them meshing well. Going from Boostio to FNS is a big change lol. I do believe Ethan and Demon1 are better players, I just don't think FNS would choose them over Vic and Crashies.

posted 10 months ago

true but as we've seen with NRG this split, chemistry>talent

posted 10 months ago

only phantom skins I use, maybe spectrum too

posted 10 months ago

Chaos is another prime like vandal skin. I just feel like it gives you a buff.

Kuronami is cooler but prime is like chicken and rice, so basic but so good.

posted 10 months ago

Oxy, Demon1 and Cryo over Texture is nuts no cyap. If you're ranking them based on this splits performance, texture gotta be in there.

posted 10 months ago

Depends how hard they throw my game because I'm never wrong and never play bad so it's always my dog teammates.

posted 10 months ago

Bro they nuked the whole roster LMFAO, Meteor is the only one remaining. My point was that they basically got a whole new roster for this season and haven't had chemistry issues and exceeded expectations.

posted 10 months ago

yea and then they lost 6 in a row LMFAO

posted 10 months ago

that and texture/munchkin stepping up a lot

posted 10 months ago

I'm surprised no one has said anything about Gen G being a dark horse. They literally came out of nowhere this year. Especially from a region that's top heavy.

Gen G for sure.

They were terrible last year and somehow almost won Madrid this year while looking unbeatable. Prob improve from there too.

posted 10 months ago

Agree with both statements. Smoggy can be an HM, I just felt lazy and didn't do one for every role LOL.

As for Wo0t, probably a little bias haha. I completely forgot about David, I'd probably put him in instead.

posted 10 months ago

also, only thing overrated is your team

posted 10 months ago

Cryocells was stuck in limbo with pre-boostio 100T. I saw the dude get excited about a clutch a few weeks ago for the first time ever LMFAO. If he can keep his confidence up and 100T perform well. I can see him overtake Wo0t.

posted 10 months ago

Forgot about my guy David, I wouldn't mind swapping him with Wo0t tbh.

I can see the argument to put Something in the 3rd spot of duelist with KK and Texture but he is nowhere near the top initiator list as the other players are pure initiators and Something has only shown a gekko.

posted 10 months ago

If you are solo queuing, do yourself a favor and play an agent that not only helps the team, but can be played selfishly.

  • Skye
  • Gekko

yea if it was just based on Kickoff/Split 1 performance, I'd probably only have Leo there but historically Fnatic are just good.

posted 10 months ago

I'm going to be honest gang, I haven't watched a single Chinese game this year.

posted 10 months ago

Oh yea didn't even think about that. But as his main role, that's where I'd put him.

posted 10 months ago

Added Note* This is considering the player as a whole, not just Kickoff/Split 1 performance.

  1. Aspas
  2. Jing

2: Trent
3: Riens

Controller:

  1. Karon
  2. Kingg
  3. Bang

Sentinel:

  1. Alfa
  2. BenjyFishy
  3. Leaf

Flex:

  1. Forsaken
    BIG GAP
  2. Chronicle
  3. Wo0t

  1. Boostio
  2. Munchkin
  3. Valyn/Boaster

based but I don't like forskin

posted 10 months ago

The prime vandal is simply the best vandal skin in the game. Maybe not the most flashy, or the best looking but it is peak. Whenever I'm struggling with the vandal or feel like my shots aren't crisp, I always equip prime vandal to reset, I swear it has to have some sort of buff because I always do better with it.

sorry pookie, don't get angry

posted 10 months ago

see, I didn't even need to say his name and you think of him

posted 10 months ago

there's only 1 answer

posted 10 months ago

"This is based on the recent qualifiers"

posted 10 months ago

While I understand that point, it'd be brain-dead to do it mid-season. The current team has too much chemistry/experience together. I agree Sacy is probably the weakest link but chemistry>talent. Look at NRG.

If the team fizzles out for the rest of the season, I wouldn't mind picking up Less.

posted 10 months ago

Might be a hot take but I genuinely think Gen G will win Shanghai. They should've won in Madrid but I guess the nerves got to them, especially when they were getting stomped by Zellsis on one of their best maps. (no hate, Sentinels were the better team). That Gen G team looked genuinely terrifying at Madrid and if they can keep form and get some steam, I think they'll finally close it out at Shanghai. If not them, surely PRX.

posted 10 months ago

surely the superteam could at least make 1 event?

posted 10 months ago

hey, remember when you were going to stomp everyone this year

posted 10 months ago

This might be the last chance for them to win. They are clear favorites and have the momentum to finally get the chip they all deserve. Asking VLR though, if they do choke it out, what happens to the team? Do you just run it back or get sick of losing in BO5s and nuke the team?

posted 10 months ago

name

posted 10 months ago

dude you have like 3 of the same teams that qualify from your region every event, what competition LMFAO

posted 10 months ago

so freaking competitive

posted 10 months ago

brother it is ok to say they underperformed, no one has a gun to your head

posted 10 months ago

I wouldn't say it was an igl diff, that Guard team was together wayyyyy longer than M80.
