I was really torn about Cned tbh. But as I stated, I don't care if they fell off, its how they performed and impacted Valorant as a whole during their peak.

They won 2 back to back less than a year ago LMFAO, and have a team in the final four right now. Why is this a question haha.
They look a little weak right now but its silly to say they'll never win another masters for the remainder of the game's life cycle.
2 cheeseburger meal and 10 piece nuggets with ranch and buffalo sauce. Trust.
Thank you. That's why it's an all-time list. All of these players have been playing since 2022 at the minimum.
I don't know about undisputed, they're 50/50 for me. Some days its Saadhak, some days its FNS. Both are amazing and had the el clasicos in 2022.
I'm seeing a lot of people say where's Demon1, while I agree his prime is better than a lot of these players, he is too new to the game. A lot of these players have redefined their roles (Nats with Sentinels, FNS/Saadhak with IGLing, Mako with Controllers etc.) That's why I said it's not just a performance competition.
He quite literally redefined the Sentinel meta that is currently still being played.
Less is amazing, probably the best viper ever but he is just that, an amazing player. He didn't redefine something.
This list will not only cover performances but also the impact on the game and overall hype levels. This list also only covers their prime, I don't care if they've fallen off or not:
Demon1 on secondary duelist/occasional controller
Jawg/Oxy on main/entry duelist
Ethan on Initiator
FNS on Senti
s0m on Controller/Flex
FNS and Potter would be too fucking OP. Riot would have to intervene like the NBA did with Chris Paul going to the Lakers.
If you had a quarter of a working brain, you could check my post history and see that I'm not a FUT fan, I'm just Turkish. If you also had any sort of reading comprehension, you could see that I said he should stick to a few, not the entire agent pool. There's being versatile, and there's being delusional. Instead of playing every hero "just because he can" he should play 3-5 because he's comfortable on them.
that is the full quote but my goat keeps getting slammed so I had to cut it off there LMFAO
exactlyyy, SEN carried most of 2021 with just how nuts they were were and the game being new and hyped
2022 was dominated by Optic and Loud the real el clasico
2023 was the year of partnership with FNC dominating and EG going crazy
This year is mostly empty
c9, kru, lev, t1 kek
The only good (and consistent) teams you've listed are heretics and prx. They got slammed for the first half of both of those matches. I'm not saying they're a bad team, I also had fun watching the comebacks. They're like ZETA in Reykjavik, on a good run. I think they'll lose to GEN G and then get bounced out by either TH or 100T.
I'm more than happy to be proved wrong and see them win.
Why would you want to rep an org that snaked their players?
He's versatile but playing so many agents can just be overwhelming. I think he needs to hone in on a few.
"A jack of all trades is a master of none"
I'm still not convinced. They start too slow. I fear they may be on a cinderella run right now. If they can clean up their first map performance, I'll say they're a good team.
Maybe but I think getting rid of mindfreak and picking up a more grounded veteran that can reel them back in would help them more. At this point it's mid season and it makes more sense to just recoup and run it back for Champs. But for next year they need changes.
The PRX fix stuff is weird. While I wouldn't mind replacing mindfreak, they can realistically still perform with their current roster. They just need to fix their playstyle because W gaming is not working as fun as it is.
I hope FNS can play the role of Potter last year. If he can do that and they get someone to actually take fights with Demon1 like Boostio or Jawg did last year, then its wraps.
Real unfortunately. While I love optic, I just don't think Crashies and Victor are in their prime anymore. The only reason why they even got transferred to NRG is because of FNS and Chet.
Let's be honest PRX fans, if PRX can't beat G2, how do you think they'll do against top teams?
I don't think they'll be a bad team. With FNS calling they'll be mid at their very worst.
LMFAO it was like 2 years ago?? Why we sayin plumber era like we're talking about the 80s???
I'd personally play Demon1 over Victor but he definitely needs a break right now. We'll see what they do post champs.
get ya money up lil bro
edit: "Riot please make smurfing easier"
I love FNS and s0m but realistically speaking, how different is this team from last years? FNS is brilliant but can't shoot back, Victor and Crashies are amazing role players but they shouldn't be depended on for firepower. Ethan has some of the best util usage in the game but he shouldn't be depended on to get kills either. The only one I can see fragging is s0m.
Optic had Marved and Yay to frag. I don't see anyone else other than s0m consistently fragging tbh. The only way I see this team working out is if their chemistry is just 100x better than last years team.
I think that's honestly one of the biggest problems. I feel like previous events had storylines to follow. This year has felt off for the most part. I did enjoy seeing SEN win at Madrid though. I know a lot of people hate SEN but I enjoyed watching them prevail after so many years of being dookie. It was a good story. This event has nothing.
I liked the Madrid crowd. IMO foreign crowds tend to be more fun.
I like watching good valorant regardless of what teams are qualified. While good valorant has been played for the most part, the rest of the things make the event feel empty.
Remove Marved and Yay.
They both have immortalized nicknames due to how disgusting they used to be. If we're talking 2024 only, then yes good list.
Lock In was the best crowd they had and will remain the best crowd until the next event in Brazil.
edit: if you dont count lock in as a masters, then it was probably copenhagen
The crowds in Valorant will never be as rowdy and fun as the CS crowds. The fan base is too soft and cringe.
99% of the ticket buyers are cosplayers and discord mods.
which you'd assume would be different since the Chinese are super into E-Sports. I guess it hurts when all of their teams got eliminated. Maybe it'll be different in the Mercedes Benz arena.
It might also just be a cultural difference since Asian culture isn't that rowdy.
I don't know if its because of the time difference but I find myself not enjoying the event as much. I've loved the matches and like the teams but it just kind of feels empty otherwise. It also feels like there are a lot more stomps and inconsistencies with the teams. What do you guys think?
FUT and FNC are way more familiar with each other. They had a close match in splits. It was genuinely a 50/50 match up. FUT is super inconsistent, unfortunately for FNC, FUT chose to be good that day.
I agree, I think at this point its better to run it back for Champs and have a team with chemistry that can get in top 6, than replace them now and have chemistry issues and bomb out.
I do think that they need to either release mindfreak after this season unfortunately. They need to get players that can ground them while the rest run around. Jingg and Something for fragging, davai and forsaken for versatility, and then the last player should be a veteran. Still sucks for them though.
I was really rooting for PRX for this event. They were set up to win it and yet fell short again. Is it time to have the uncomfortable conversation that maybe W gaming just isn't good enough? I enjoy the wild playstyle and it's super entertaining but it seems like its more of a liability as of late. Too undisciplined to get far in internationals. What would be the next move for them? Do they just run it back or is it time to change some things up.
Cockzam is an ego demon and has a stick 8 inches up his cheeks. He gets tilted and feels bullied by light trolling. I don't hate him but he is by far my least favorite pro.
this was the response I was looking for.
I watch Tarik if I'm doing something while watching the game because it's pretty brainless but if I'm only watching, I usually go to Curry or FNS.
Boostio got them 100T boys actin different LMFAO. Guy really transitioned the "Live Evil" from EG to 100T. Love to see them play confident, they look super good. Boostio is a menace fr.
nah FNATIC looked good, FUT is mid tho
Ok I swear this isn't Turkish cope and I am saying this with the most unbiased view. I even had them losing in my pickems against 100T, I'm not delusional.
FUT is the most inconsistent team. If they're firing on all cylinders, they'll beat FNC. If they're not? Well, we'll just have another stomp but I think FUT is due for 1 more. They had a close match against them in the Split 1 playoffs and are probably butthurt from 100T.
I think they bounce out FNC and then get bounced out by loser of 100T v GEN G.
Unless Cned gets a low taper fade, then they'll win it all.
