Secret, since they have more time to prepare for champions and can fuck around, whereas PRX has to play LCQ in a week.

pretty good k-drama, had some intense moments throughout most of the episodes.

Didn't they release everyone but naTz?

Did they even announce a new roster for this tourney?

One thing about Temperature is that he is CRAZY flexible. He can play from sentinels to Sova to controllers, which was his original role on Moon Raccoons. This does beg the question if one of NaturE, Shawn or Koosta is switching to duelist, and one of Temp, NaturE or Koosta will play sentinels.

All things considered, he is a great replacement for MkaeL and GenG can make some serious noise in LCQ.

2-1 BOOM.

I think Fennel is the weakest team in the whole tourney, but I'll give them some benefit of the doubt because Tensai, Jinx and Derialy are pretty solid to at least win a map. BOOM takes it in the end though.

REJECT good, but DAMWON even better.

2-0 DWG. These guys beat NUTURN and have some scary players.

Wolf Guy is also a good recommendation but dont read it if you're prone to intense content.

REJECT good, but better with Dep. I still think REJECT will take this 2-0, because Kaminari and Hareee are solid enough to pull their weight in this match.

All things considered, Envy did incredibly well. They got farther than anyone expected, and thought they would get ousted by SEN and 100T. Yay is a monster, Crashies, Marved and Victor are solid, and FNS has some big brain strats. Envy should be incredibly proud getting this far with a relatively new player, with their coach unable to go to Berlin with them and should keep their heads up for champions.

Yesterday, Kyedae called crashies "a scrawny fuck" on stream after their loss to Envy.

Today, Yay defended Crashies and TenZ stupidly brought up past and unrelated drama to defend Kyedae.

That is an awful call by TenZ. Pretty childish to dig up past and unrelated drama because of someone's defense.

Wouldn't the screen turn gray for a minute to indicate there's a timeout?

I've noticed that in Berlin, the admins just pause the game instead. If they called a timeout in the game, their screen would gray and no one would move around. However in many other games before ACEND v 100T, the admins haven't done that and instead paused the game, and the players were allowed to move around. So technically, it's not an illegal move.

Edit: just to reiterate my point, you can clearly see both teams moving around during this supposed timeout. So the admins pause the game, and not call a timeout in game.

I think people are being too reactionary to the SEN loss. Yes, they did have a subpar tournament, and they have looked really shaky, but I think it's too early to call "it" for them. Just like every team in Berlin, they are exploitable as the next, and today: Envy exploited them. But I can't say that nothing isn't wrong, because something is. Whether it be a strat, or a player(s)' mental being down, I do hope that SEN can fix this in time for Champions. Envy were clearly the better team today, and that's amazing, they did do a massive feat by eliminating the world champions (thereby ruining my pick'em), and gave us a banger today. Let's not harass any of the players, because they don't deserve that: they didn't want to lose, and they are not going to play the "oh it's a seeding game for Champions" narrative, because I don't think anyone wants to lose. And let's not harass Kyedae or Dapr's gf, because wtf is wrong with you if you do that. Am I a SEN fan on severe copium? No, just a neutral watcher that wants good games and being rational.

posted about 3 years ago

I mean that is the most ridiculous change i've ever seen. Has shahz ever played smokes? I don't think so.

posted about 3 years ago

you mean sick? zombs literally tweeted "better seed secured" when they lost against G2.

posted about 3 years ago

Nah EU good. 100T was better today, and ACEND made them sweat. and this is coming from an NA fan. Get a grip.

posted about 3 years ago

ah yes botned worse jett for dropping 70 kills, makes sense. actually not free.

posted about 3 years ago

What a fucking game. That last map was a rollercoaster of emotions and holy fuck; captain america showed up.

Great fucking game to both teams, they did incredibly well. ACEND is a tactical nightmare, cNed's a nightmare himself, but in the end, the 100T rallied back and won. what a strong-ass mental.

God bless this tourney for good matches, and ACEND has nothing to be ashamed of: they are a scary team. Absolutely.

And calm down NA fans; i don't think body-shaming players is showing support to NA. It's genuinely childish. Grow the fuck up.

Prior to Berlin, this matchup would seem super good. The titans of CIS and EMEA vs the tactical KR gods.

But now seeing VS walk over ACEND, and GMB struggling this hard;

I really think that VS is going to eat GMB alive if they keep playing like this.

VS 2-0

But I really do hope that GMB shows up and gives us a banger, because on paper: it is. I hope nAts and the crew show up and give us a sick match.

I remember when CR was up 7-2 on attack on icebox, and watched Sideshow's mental disintegrate in real time. It was HILARIOUS, no other co-streamers would show this much passion for a game, making PCV really entertaining to watch.
