Code Geass has an absolutely crazy ending.

It was rated as the top rated ending in all of anime iirc.

posted about 2 years ago

iirc the show was based off of one arc in the manga, so it wasn't a "real" ending.

EMEA > NA, currently yes.

Brazil is a good region for sure, but the fanbase needs to relax and understand the situation more before making harmful comments.

Japan does deserve at least 1 slot, and maybe 2 for champions (if it's a 24 team tourney) and needs to stay a separate region. CR definitely disappointed JP, but most JP fans believe that CR was not the strongest JP team they sent, and there are new and upcoming teams coming through in JP.

KRU (and LATAM) are underrated. They had a great showing and excited to see what they can do next year.

Ah yes CR = JP, got it. guess the new and upcoming JP teams and ZETA Division don't count as JP teams.

Vivo Keyd used an ILLEGAL Cypher camera exploit against ACEND map 3 Breeze, which VK initially won 13-8.

Riot had observed and investigated the map, and decided to give a replay on map 3. The problem with that was that Riot decided to give ACEND a 7-0 start, where the community got mad about because that's a straight handicap for Vivo Keyd, whereas some thought it was a fair ruling.

And then the replay happened, which ACEND won 13-10, and the Brazilians got super upset at the result, and started going off at Riot and ACEND.

if the rumours are true,

then chase is a big downgrade from zach. he has not been particularly impressive on ghost and never seemed tier 1. maybe tier 1.5 or tier 2.

gg nt for Gambit

ACEND looked crazy after the VK game.

Liquid did fine throughout the tournament and LCQ.

They were just hard-countered today.

Still a top 5 team in the world currently.

The main problem with CR is communication. They have KR and JP players but they comm in Korean, English, and Japanese. They need big shakeups and I believe that a new roster is needed.

The ideal roster I would have is:

Munchkin - sentinel
Medusa - sova/flex
Meiy - duelist
Neth - duelist
Kaminari - smokes

Minty would have been a star duelist but the comms issue he expressed in the past wouldn't be helpful by keeping him on a mixed roster team.

IGZIST signed the old Blackbird Ignis roster, who were a top 6 team in Japan.

They had one of the best logos in VALORANT fr.

posted about 2 years ago

On paper, that is a nutty ass roster.

Potentially a top 5 sova in the world, a star Jett main, an intelligent IGL, a crazy good duelist, and a really good controller.

Really interested to see them next year.

I don't think people understand the joke here

"CR being bad means that JP is bad as a region, therefore should be given 1 slot next year"

posted about 2 years ago

SA and CN given the same number of slots as JP despite being new entries?

that is some wack shit.

If he does leave, then there's 2 options IMO:

  1. move Sushiboys to duelist, and get a sentinel player like aLerT
    or
  2. keep Sushiboys on sentinel, and get someone like JohnOlsen, Pinocchios

f0rsaken - Jett
Patiphan - secondary duelist
Sushiboys - Sentinel
BORKUM - controller
Foxz - sova/flex

What a shame that this happened to the first Korean team on international stage.

I wonder what they do, sign cracked out youngins in Korea, or move to Japan and create a JP-KR team?

I agree

Chet was a bad pickup for Envy. From dropping the coach that got you to the finals of Berlin, to getting the coach that found little to no success at TSM and NRG.

How disappointing.

posted about 2 years ago

you and I both, but they need some shakeups.

kaminari would be a big pickup for them, and keep munchkin, neth, and medusa.

it's been reported that NV picked up Chet because FNS pushed for the move

posted about 2 years ago

Nepotism can only get you so far.

I had doubts before the tourney when NV dropped Mikes, the coach that got them to the finals in Berlin, and picked up a subpar coach with minimal success on both NRG and TSM.

Looks my doubts are coming to fruition.

This got turned into a shitshow because Brazilians on Twitter don't know their limits.

Japan got called shit multiple times and no one cared. Japanese fans stayed loyal and humble, and most certainly didn't send death threats.
