They should get their own region if/when the region has enough talented teams to justify it, as of right now they clearly do not.

I think EU is a much deeper region than Pacific, Pacific is extremely top heavy.

Pacific is closer to NA and EU but China is a huge step down in talent. Merging them at this point in the game just makes sense. As a viewer I want to see the best teams competing at the highest levels, this DRG team would struggle to beat a mediocre T2 NA/EU team and shouldn't have been at this tournament.
