EG have been in incredible form recently. They're super warm and definitely very confident. LOUD looked dominant in the Americas playoffs but they haven't warmed up to the stage yet.

I think there's a chance, albeit a very small one, that EG upset LOUD. like 10%.

Realistically, their only achievements are taking a map off NRG and early LOUD.

Navi also took a map off NRG. And I think they'd be able to take a map off the LOUD that C9 played.

these are the 5/6 placing teams in each region. C9 was the 4th place team in NA.

I would also say that C9 / Navi / Gen G are also very similar in skill on average.

yeah reducing the number of spots and giving incentives to invest has led to a talent squish in every region into a few top teams. I still think it could be better in EMEA and Pacific where there's too many teams with old players that should've been replaced by those currently playing in T2 (i.e. sScary, a lot of BOOM players, Kadoom, a lot of Turkish players, Enzo and more)

Furia / Lev / Vit / Giants / Secret / Zeta

all equally bad (on average, Furia could definitely upset teams on a good day though) to me.
