Classes in python aren't useless. Good code is more than just getting the thing to work. Classes provide an opportunity for the programmer to define an informative and descriptive interface for the logic being encapsulated. Instance/Class methods, constructor methods, and Meta classes allow for that!

Jamming everything into a dictionary, is, as you point out, sometimes possible, but would frequently sacrifice opportunities to organize the logic in a way that makes it easier for someone reading your code to understand how it works and what you were trying to accomplish.

While EG clearly mismanaged lots of stuff at the end of 2023, they seem to have done their best to do right by their Valorant roster (and Potter especially) over the last year, on an almost nonexistent budget and with an almost nonexistent staff. To the people asking why they haven't been booted from the league, unlike BLEED, the answer is obvious. They managed to scrap together enough money to fulfill their obligations to Riot and their players even with literally like 2 or 3 non player/coaches on staff total. Credit where credit is due, the individuals working for EG did alright given the shit hand they were dealt. Direct your vitriol towards the investors, if anyone. Not the people actually running the day to day.

Why do you care? Why not just be glad for reduxx and enjoy the matches? Him being 17 affects no one negatively, and gives him no advantage in the game. Arguments around it being child labor do not seem genuine to me
