hyperbole bro? obviously I don't think NA is shit that'd be flat out delusional
they both do different things. Zikz was the one who did more the nitty gritty stuff and Potter was mainly the talent developer & leader from what I recall. both had their merits & made EG the well oiled machine it was but it was largely situational & both of them are in no way the same environment
both maps after haven. 100T would play iffy, get saved by either G2 throwing or Cryo & Eeiu having a life round, and then all of that would happen just for G2 to win another round in the most high% way possible. not saying it was completely shit but it was full of shenanigans that makes me wonder if we're watching the death of NA in real time
I'm be completely real when I say that that game gave me heavy flashbacks to watching low tier China games. Only difference was that there were less throws during anti-eco's and 5v3 losses (emphasis on the less)
Xeppaa's backlog of souls he uses to fuel himself during C9's roster moves tends to run out after regular stages
the instant I picked hanche's name out of the haystack and saw he was not D i could immediately tell you don't actually watch the games
that's because he was actively using black magic to siphon Rossy's talent into himself. that fed him all the way up until now and i'm scared that he's going to turn into dust on stage
maybe if they steal neT's and v1c's souls as well, but i don't know if that'll be enough to get them to an international. i'm starting to think that the reason they got Oxy was so they could use Xeppaa to fuel his legacy by feeding his accumulated demonic energy to him
My only worry is that Xeppaa might show up as a dried mummified corpse after the devil collects his soul in exchange for his regular season performances. He can't ever steal Oxy's life essence to ward him off and Rossy's has evidently ran out from how he's been doing on LEV. Did he just damn them all to hell for no reason?
bought out pug that was LFT who performed well in split 3. bombed out split 1, dropped their entire roster before relegation probably because they were already planning to buy out whatever PUG qualified anyways, then decided to drop money on the one that beat them since Sherpa won the other series
masters bangkok in general wasn't a very strategically deep tournament due to the nature of it being so early in the season. new meta with both vyse and tejo entering the pool as relevant and strong agents alongside the need to have high firepower this season obviously would result in the top teams being pretty aim diff heavy. that's the reason why G2 and T1 both beat EDG in their rematches. both teams meshed well with their own interpretations of the game respectively around the evolving meta. EDG grew in 2024 after the coaching staff change and leaning into comps that focused on having agents that are individually self reliant. their strats looked so smooth because it flowed well with the rest of the team alongside them understanding how to work around enemy macro both in prep and on the fly. that's probably what muggle and century are trying to go for again: building a generally universal lineup of agents (with a few exceptions) that the players will mesh well into that they can utilize in a free flow way AROUND the meta. not exactly conforming to it
Jieni's off games are really only on initiator, too (which S1mon rarely went positive on anyways). his neon game against DRG was literally the only stinker that you could argue mattered and that was mainly because he was getting absolutely shit on in his entries. on Lotus he looks way more comfortable due to the lack of trips and other util keeping him boxed in. their current comp theory remind me of their champs ones where their agents have little combo potential but are all solid on their own and they play off the map macro and enemy midrounding extremely well. once they get into their stride they should be coasting
they're quite weird and pretty shit but if they can learn how to combat enemy trips on more closed off maps for the two duelists then it has mega potential against international teams. Muggle and Century might not be huffing paint after all
BLG purposely threw against wolves to that they can play lower finals and qualify at the same time as you. PLEASE win so whzy decides to farm the Edward menace and upset you again at Toronto
I hope they show up bro. Levius and Rushia getting international experience would be a big help in their development as rookies. and whzy deserves another chance to show up on the global stage too. fucking devastating if they barely miss out for the 2nd time
then the issue isn't jieni but how the coaches are building their comps. do you hear yourself?
i sure hope not because the ONE game throughout the entirety of stage 1 that they have a dip in performance in is the one against WOLVES in their QUALIFYING GAME
"he's creating role issues because he's so flexible and is willing to play 3 different roles" do you hear yourself?
WE'VE PLAYED THESE GAMES BEFORE
it's an NA fan that just woke up for school. of course they're braindead 💀
EDG are gonna develop main character syndrome AGAIN and obliterate blg ISTG. if that's how blg miss out on ANOTHER international this year i'm going to be so mad
xlg and blg could go 2-1 in groups with a miracle win. wouldn't say they're completely hopeless of a team getting a decent-ish run
it's sure looking good for me. an EDG not waking up is a 90% of a higher chance for BLG to qualify 🤑
for not waking up and gifting BLG a way to Toronto. glorious fortune for Whzy🙏
please win BLG you need the international experience
nah i get it because their lotus comp in champs was literal horseshit. however the general mindset I can get from Muggle & Century is that if they can build a generally consistent lineup of comfort agents that are flexible enough on their own + together then they can easily brute force their way through counterstrats. this is literally a repeat of how their stage 2 went before Seoul
"kk doesn't look comfortable on iso. he's been playing it for a WHOLE 2 weeks. he fell off"
damn it's almost like S1mon was fucking smearing them both in private and on public stream. critical thinking devil
"no way this clove lotus comp will work in Seoul. they have no damage & no way to break cypher trips"
that statement was more towards him being disappointed in how he just put in less effort after losing toronto. not really him declaring that he'll be jobless after this season
they're not an "english org". they're owned by a chinese conglomerate that owns the rights and operations of the english PL team. they're huge in cn cod mobile.
it happened twice on this account btw. was immo then threw to iron then went all the way back up to immo LMFAOOO. how bored do you have to be to throw multiple games everyday over the course of half a year 💀
ppl hating on edg cuz they're popular. that's it rly
we've all played these games before
holy shit they're blowing them out. maybe all they needed was a wakeup call
30
he realized he's gotta deal with that sooner than later 😭
tbf eraser has military service so he'll most likely be back after he resolves that
yes, but champs 2022 was the first tournament that allowed Chinese teams to qualify, so everything before that they couldn't even have tried. they've been to literally everything afterwards
on EVERYONE'S soul including mine you're right
the current Tyloo CS iteration also are relatively young in their careers. cn CS in general right now is pretty promising with LV's roster too
one of them tried and they were dogshit in the trials 😭
realistically they're probably just gonna rebuild next season with academy talent ngl. replace waituu and 5cm
