They are trolling with the buys. Like sure they got the firepower, but this isn't it.

Fnatic looked good, but I was bit worried on some rounds. Feels like they were peaking one by one way too much. Nice confidence from them, but super risky at times.
When EMEA team wins its because the opposing team was bad.
When NA team wins in close game its because the opposing team was good.
Seen this same narrative for long time already. Nothing new.
Sliggy's stream made it seem like Fnatic wanted to attend carneval or something and because of that skipped press conference. Later same day Jamppi was talking about carneval as well so at least it was a real thing. Not sure was that the reason for Fnatic's skip though. He was talking about Mini giving a "pr reason" or something so possible it was just a cover for covid.
Fnatic everytime like first its Derke, then Mistic and then again someone.
That is true, but as much I like Redgar I think he has to re-prove he can be elite level IGL. I think Redgar's calls were kind of bad on M3C and really one dimensional. Doing same thing over and over again etc. Obviously M3C had a lot of problems with the situation is Russia/Ukraine, but I don't think we can fully put evetything on that.
Has nothing to do with BONECOLD if you mean that. Just stating facts that many non-EMEA followers don't know. They think Acend just came out of nowhere and won Champions, while in reality they were top team for most of 2021.
It wasn't a fluke. Anyone who thinks this doesn't know what they are talking about. Acend always had the chances of winning any international LAN even at the time of first Reykjavik. They were top 3 EMEA team for pretty much most of 2021 and were a threat to any EMEA team let it be Fnatic, Liquid, Gambit etc. at any time. Like you could even argue they were the EMEA favorites heading into Masters 3 Berlin (they placed 3rd, but for most part looked like the most well rounded team especially before seeding matches). They started Champions slow, but after Vivo Keyd game they didn't lose a single game IIRC.
And when it comes to 2022, well I dont know. Rumors at the time were saying how Acend was killing it in scrims and were ahead in terms of meta. But when the season started they quickly fell off and wasn't for long before roster changes. No idea why it happened, but it just did.
5v4 post plant you have guy who is flanking and then you lose to stick lol
I just don't get people who rate 100T over NRG. Especially after we saw that s0m wouldn't be a problem.
yay should learn French and join KCorp. Scream better IGL and fragger than FNS and is more taller.
yeah I was wondering that as well but I'm not native speaker so I don't know or it was just a mistake
They just need time. KCorp, Heretics, BBL and FUT are trolling with their rosters, but when it comes to rest its just matter of time IMO. I think EMEA will benefit a lot from regular seasons where these teams can play officials from week to week.
Also there's potential explanations like some more inexperienced players and tier 2 players getting in and they obviously need more time to become full on these new rosters. Also this format is just brutal and most teams have no idea of what they are going against.
Twisten is really good. Twisten & Molsi duo will be really scary with time.
I'm pretty sure Pearl is Vitality's most played map so far, so its possible they became really readable on it. Especially compared to team with no footage on any map.
I mean the matchup, not Vitality. Like if it was 100T vs GE and 100T won with same score etc. people would be praising them like crazy. But because its Vitality winning with little expectations people only focus on negatives of GE.
They have really hard bracket, so its hard. But I have a lot of faith in this team. I think they will do well. Maybe too early for Lock In, but I trust the vision for future.
This. And the thing is just its just because of the team names. If instead of Vitality it would have been 100T or SEN or something this whole site as well as reddit would be praising them like if they were destined to win Champions. But because its relatively unknown/underdog team like Vitality you see bunch of people shitting them for the fact that GE don't look good. Same happened with Giants vs DFM but just see if it was NRG vs DFM.
everyone was hyping up guys like Wolfen from tier 2 but ceNder got none even tho he always looked good on Vitality
I didn't say I'm not excited of them. Just that its not surprising that many Brazilians didn't come to watch this match when there's low clout.
Unfortunately, but can't really blame them though. Not many big names on stage outside of like SkRossi lol
SkRossi owns Chinese region
True seems like a nice guy in interviews. Want him to succeed, but they are facing Vitality...
Vitality coaching staff is really nice and respected
true and feels bad for them because Liquid genuinely feel like a good organization who thinks of their players
Yeah its the same guy. Paycheck stealing Liquid while putting all energy on NaVi...
Maybe he just likes the look or feel more. But could also just feel more comfortable or confident in it. I used to always wear bigger clothes because I thought it would hide my imperfections.
No. I don't think anyone has ever said that Fnatic has the best roster on paper. That has never been a main reason for their hype. People hyped them up because of their regional performance, not because of their roster. For longest time it was Derke + friends until they got Alfajer. But now they have Derke, Alfajer and Leo and Chronicle. This roster is stacked af.
Not saying they are better than NaVi*
ANGE1 always gets joked on for dying and bad KD, but mechanically he is pretty good for an IGL. His aim is actually good even if you don't see it every game. Sometimes he just outaims some of the best in the world. Don't see that often from guys like FNS or Boaster.
Team Secret looked pretty good I think while Liquid looked pretty lost. Like if they had no plan heading into the game and couldn't really figure out anything. Looked a lot like new team.
Vitality will be what people expected Liquid to be. V for VAMOS
Not a big chance of it happening, but could happen. At least NaVi core has been together for long and only changed 1 players compared to Liquid whose teamplay looked really poor today.
Of course, but NaVi should win it
Role overlap was one of the concerns with this roster for sure but I don't think its too big of a difference maker.
Chamber was definitely the agent he really popped off on, but he should also be able to perform on other agents and I fully think he will. He is flexible and his rifling is good as well. Maybe not today, but I think we will see good stuff from him this year.
His form during Copenhagen and LCQ was insane tho no matter what
Yeah its kinda sad seeing Liquid perform like this, but I think its fine. I think we've seen that many of these EMEA teams need more time and being able to play multiple games in EMEA league will prepare them better for next LAN. They just don't look ready and are still bit lost feels like.
The thing is that they shouldn't look this weak. Their current roster is really good on paper, but feels like no one is showing up today outside of like Redgar.
True but Liquid and superteams haven't gone too well
Liquid owner can't catch a break. First they spend shit ton of money to build "superteam" in LoL just for them not to qualify to anything and then letting one of those expensive players go free agent without buyout(because TL goated). Then building another "superteam" in LoL that isn't doing too well currently. And then seeing this Valorant roster lose their first map against Team Secret.
Hopefully just a slow start. They looked way more comfortable as the game went on.
Yeah I don't really know. Just looks off from Liquid.
True. They look really clueless. Like feels like everytime they get site they are waiting forever to plant and then they just try to push while tunnel visioning and getting killed. Looks weird from them. Feels like they are way over thinking it while being off focus wise.
