Tbh FPX had pretty insane read. As someone pointed out Fnatic did a lot of same stuff as against M3C and FPX were just reading them like book. They for example knew that Mistic would play A a lot alone on attack, so they pushed ANGE1 deep with OP and Shao was there as well to support. Same with vent clears because Derke likes to play there.

Braveaf almost 100% aka Sova, Breach on Fracture and Sage on Split. Easy roles to fill since Bonecold played some Sova even in Champs.

But the problem with that is that teams rarely let their active players go or if they do they ask high loans. That's why most sub players are pretty unknown or in lower tiers.

Like who? Considering that teams are rarely willing to send their active players, so this player would have to be orgless or on bench.

I'm pretty sure that the announcement of otom said that he can fill for duelist/controller(?) roles. Maybe they just signed him in case someone got Covid or something. And they are arguably the favorites going into Masters 1, so maybe they though some unknown player like otom isn't good enough and rather sign experienced player.

True. I hope FNC vs FPX will be a banger. Its just feels so weird that team like FPX with stand-in and "OG gods" like Ardiis, Shao and Zyppan made it to top 3 of most competitive region. That's why I'm still unsure about them. Its just so weird even though they played really well. Fnatic will be their final boss. Ardiis having to face Derke. Shao has to call against Boaster etc.

He hasn't been performing, but some people don't seem to understand that even Derke wouldn't shine in Gambit system. Fnatic does everything to support Derke to reach success while d3ffo is hard entry for Gambit and he isn't meant to shine. He is doing his job just fine even if he has bad games here and there.

Its good that players can flex, but that doesn't change the fact that purp0 is duelist player for most part and wouldn't make sense to put him on flex role. Unless he wanted it himself.

purp0 is Jett player though. Him replacing Zeek wouldn't have made sense anyway. And some rumors say that Zeek is already back at scrimming with Acend.

They have potential, but I don't know is Mixwell's Jett enough. Obviously seems like players like Meddo and Avova are finally activated so the need of carry Jett is smaller, but I think he could get diffed quite hard by star Jetts.

I doubt it. No hate towards ec1s, but he was stuck in tier 2 EU for quite some time before 100T decided to sign him. And its not like he was unknown prodigy or anything, he got his shot in tier 1. Still hope he gets new chance on decent team, but Acend isn't it.

As flashy Jett yes, but many forget what D3ffo's role is in Gambit. He isn't even supposed to be well supported superstar Jett like players like Tenz, Derke, Leaf etc.

New gamemode without building so its understandable many streamers are testing it again. Building ruined Fortnite for me.

I think Guild is 4th best for sure. Just looking at their players and how short amount of time they've been together. They could be top 3 after sometime and after they fix some of their problems with structure etc. TL has chance of taking it but they are griefing themselves.

I'm still a little bit unsure about FPX even after their wins against teams like Gambit and TL, but they still deserved their spot and I'm really happy for all the players and coaches. Can't wait to see how they matchup against Fnatic and that might chance my opinion about them.

I thought Kiles was the one who was going to get benched if anyone so agreed. He looked good in end of last year, but this year he has looked weak. And obviously he has family in Ukraine so that is going to effect his gameplay, but even during parts of 2021 he didn't bring much fragging power.
